<p>My 1st time though, so hopefully a perfect score in september :D</p>

<p>(only got a 35 on the April ACT :/)

<p>I’m a Sophomore who just took the SAT. I received the following:</p>

<p>660 Math
700 Critical Reading
690 Writing</p>

<p>Composite: 2050</p>

<p>Is this a bad score? I understand it’s not quite what some of you would consider suitable, but as a sophomore hoping to get a 2250-2300 by Senior year, am I on the right track? Thanks!</p>

did every single SAT practice test since it changed to 2400…
got a fricken 2220, before taking the test I was looking at a worst of 2300…</p>

<p>HAHAHAHAHA I got a 9 on the essay. That was the third time I had ever written an SAT essay, because I thought it woukd be essy to get a 12 since I’m in AP English and get 7-8s on all my essays but I guess not…</p>

<p>Some venting: wanted to break 2200. I got a 215 on my PSAT and I took many practice tests in which I got math all correct. Strangely enough, I got 80/80 writing MC correct… But I choked on the essay and got a 7. I went in thinking math and the essay were my strongest points. I’m an ap language student, have received writing awards, going on a writing conference (w/ a scholarship) this summer… It just didn’t make sense :(</p>

<p>I’m happy with my score. I’m not shooting for a 2300 or for Harvard and this will get me into a lot of very good schools. I know people on this site have Ivy aspirations but you guys should be thrilled with your scores. Anyone who is cracking 2000 is in the upper echelon of students. Getting a 2200 instead of a 2300+ will not kill you.</p>
