Damn it i hate this

670 math
640 writing
600 CR
9 essay

Whatever

At least I did better, even though only by 30 points.

Well unlike most on here, I’m extremely happy this morning! I got 800CR, 770M, and 740CW (9 essay). I got 212 PSAT, so I’m psyched for a 2310!

So freaking close!!! 2290

670 Math (expected)
650 Writing (Expected, but only got a 7 essay, which surprised me)
620 CR (Surprised me since I thought I did best in CR)

Total: 1940

I was really hoping for 2000+, but oh well, 1940 is still good for 8th grade.

I’m grade 9… but im asian so that makes up for it :P

Hey guys! Is a 1970 SAT score (2 tests super-scored) /1270 (without writing) better an a 29 on the ACT?

740 math
680 writing
600 reading

Imo the vocabulary this time was really obscure. Dem French African tribal words yo :(

9 on the essay which is disappointing considering how bad most of the 6 scoring examples are.

Welp…I only took this to confirm my psat score for NMS so mission accomplished I guess.

730 - Critical Reading
720 - Writing
740 - Math
2190 Composite

I am sooo happy! Its my first time taking it as a junior so I was really risking it taking it so late. I want to raise my score by 60 points in October.

funny thing is that math is by far my strongest subject and I was in a higher percentile for CR and writing!

@Nikkkkki

a 1970 SAT and a 29 ACT are roughly equal. It is a little closer to a 28 ACT. So your scores are consistent.

CR: 530
MATH: 640
Writing: 630
Essay: 11

Total score: 1810
I’m taking the June SAT. I’m aiming at 2200 but after these results I don’t even know.

Also is getting an 11 on an essay really hard?

Yes. An 11 essay is very good. It means that at least one person thought that your essay merited top marks.

First time taking it. Cr:570
M:640
W:650 essay 8
1860
Was never going to take SAT but had to take for alternate entry into national achievement program. I’m glad I took because I believe I have a much better chance at a great SAT score rather than a much better ACT score. Is this a good sign that a 1860 with no prep gives me a good shot at at least a 2000???Ideally a 2100+.

There was a 200 disparity between the practice tests I do and the result I got from the May SAT score. What am I doing wrong? This is so frustrating…

@kldat1 ok thanks :((( ugh this is so frustrating!

my scores: nonexistent :)

prestico23, That’s good to hear…I was happy with 2040 for first take until I started reading through some of these posts!

Does anyone know what a 2040 would be equalivalent to on the ACT? Also, I don’t see it on College Board…what is the first date the SAT is offered in the Fall? Thanks!

What’s considered a good grade on the 1600 critical reading and math scale?

790 on SAT chem and 740 on math level 2. Extremely happy with the chemistry one. Anyone have any thoughts on whether or not I should retake math level 2. Will a 5 in AP calc make up for a 740 math 2?
