i just wished the SATs is like the nys regents, if many peepz score low they curved it as much as they can to make it good looking…-_-

btboxpunk- I know it was experimental, I was just answering his question. dont worry

besides, just because it wasn’t on your exam doesn’t mean it’s experimental

Can anyone drum up more questions that were on the “diatribe” section and on the “levity:serious” section?

I was feeling pretty good about my scores until the “mechanic” question…

*ABOUT THE PK + KP PROBLEM-

The problem said “if this problem is solved like a normal addition problem”, or something to that effect.

now, if the problem is

KP

+PK

1K6

THEN it would not matter if you pick 97 or 79 first, the answer is 176. And the given answer is 1K6, therefore, 1K6=176, so K is 7. If K is 7, P is 9. So the answer to this question since it was a QC was the box with P, although i can’t remember which box that was.

Correct me if I’m wrong.

Well… I don’t want to strain myself trying to think of questions… If you can remember the questions, I’ll get the answer I put.

Word, the answer was 1K6, not 1x6 – This forces the variables K and P to take values that can’t be interchanged.

**It was answer B, the guy above me

let’s keep this alive!

we should comment in the sat 1 math thread and the verbal compilation thread!

Anyone remember any questions from the jewelry reading? That was tricky

Sorry, I’ll repost in the verbal thread, didn’t see you message til after I posted

I skipped one in math, 1 denite wrong, lets say 3-4 more wrong.
I skipped two verbal, got (lets approxiamate) 9 wrong.

What my score roughly be?

Math ~ 730?
Verbal ~ 700?

I heard that this scale was going to be harder than usual

V 670
M 690

670 for 9 wrong? Oh, I hope not; that’s crazy…!

what makes a scale harder than usual?

And what if its 2 wrong, 1 omit in math.
2 skip, 5 wrong in verbal?

The test was easier than usual so less people will be getting wrong answers. It works like the scale on the APs.

Oh, and I got olfactory:ear::auditory:reading

me too tennis. I think that’s a good sign :)

hhee yeah.
I just wanna break 1450, and I got a 1410 the last time.
Is it possible to score a 740-760 in verbal if I skipped 2 and got 4 wrong?

Wicked, do you remember your answers from the Korean lady passage?
She wanted to be inconspicuous ( for her freedom); She viewed the halibiou with esteem. She changed her opinion from indifference to fascination. She belives that one has to discover their true identity.
