dream,

63 + 122 + 3*5 = 57

and tim, i also got 9 for the triangle grid-in

wasn’t it trying to ask for the area of the triangle?

theoneo - I put precarious, because power switched hands so often.

Er… Let me try to recall the problem. Let’s see:

x=number of $2 certs
y=number of $3 certs
z=number of $4 certs

x=2y; y=2z
Therefore x=4z.

Total amount is $57. Keeping in mind that x, y, and z are only the number of certificates, you have to multiply those values by their worth to get the total. So:

2x + 3y + 5z = 57

Using sub:

2(4z) + 3(2z) + 5z = 57

8z+6z+5z=57

The coefficient of the second term is the number of $3 certificates.

No, it was midpoint BC (H): Area of AHD. I got 18.

i put precarious because if they needed so many presidents, the situation was probably precarious, meaning flimsy and shaky

this test was crazy

the math was way harder

the tiles question’s answer was 200

what was the archaic question anyone

I got 18, too.

For that question, SourApplezz, I got something along the lines of “to show the different ways of representing the number”.

Because the author said that IV was so arbitrary, since there were so many ways of getting 4.

Whew I put precarious too.

I did not get archaic as one of my answers. Was it for the sentence completion with the babies being protected against microbes or something?

And I also got precarious for whichever question that was.

Wow, i really screwed up critical reading.

i put 18 and precarious

I think I had deleterious in the babies question.

I didn’t get deleterious… I got obsolete. That question was the one that tripped me up.

What did the word vital mean in sec 1 of CR?

how can the answer to the triangle one be 18. think about it, it was a square with side 6. so the total area would be 36. The question asked for the triangle from the center of the square to the 2 corners. This would be 1/4 of the area. not 1/2.

18 would need to be a triangle formed from 3 corners.

correct me if im wrong.

I got predisposed for the babies one…

I said vital meant fundamental. And I put deleterious too, I think it was saying that if you protected babies too much from microbes, they would be more prone to allergies later, which meant that excessive hygiene was harmful (deleterious).

Fundamental.

It wasn’t obsolete. They meant that sheltering a baby is bad (deleterious) because it led to allergies when they grew up.

Tim i believe your reasoning is correct but the area of the square is 18 (3root 2 by 3root 2). And the triangle is half of 18=9
