It was “earliest inclination”

Does anyone have the slightest recollection of the question on english in the “Women in the Civil War” passage? It was talking about the advantages women got, such as voting, by being soldiers in the war. It then gave two examples of women who were able to vote for lincoln and the question was specifically asking for comma and phrase position. Any thoughts?

I thought it was just one woman.
As (male alias) this woman could vote.

inclination 100%

I struggled with the voting question at first too. It was a period, followed by “As” because it said how (disguised) as private jim, (a woman) really named Mary or something was able to vote for Lincoln almost sixty years before women’s suffrage because she was undercover as a man.

I also put “horrified” for the Frankenstein passage. I wouldn’t call this humorous as much as I would call it ironic and amusing, which was certainly a light, clever way to end the passage.

@SaraCo, yes, but what was the answer? I can’t remember, but I want to know if I got it right.

.As
She was horrified. Just like the speaker who thought the book was lame because of the bad movies or whatever.

It was listing an example. It couldn’t be a comma because it was two independent clauses. Correct?
No semicolon answers?

Can you retype the original question SaraCo?

@SaraCo, you mean “bla bla name of girl, as …” ?

My last 4 answers to the english were all d and j. Anyone else get that?

Does anyone remember what the last passage was

Women were granted more rights. As Soldier (male name), (real, female name) was allowed to vote.

This was basically what it was.

i’m not sure if you guys remember #2, if somebody does what did you get?

Again, for the Seattle port question, was it “, so to be”?

Was “horrified” keeping it as is? What were the other choices other than the one about the guy mentioned in the beginning?

@Jazzed Do you remember anymore of that question? I can probably tell you the answer if you do.

Did you put leave as is for however, the something blocked salmon from passing. Also I vaguely remember getting 1 or 2 dashes as answers very early on this passage

Last 4 I think were d or j. What do you guys think the curve is going to be like?

Since it’s 75 questions, I’m thinking that -1 or 2 should still be a 36. I don’t actually know, though. Does anyone know the curve for past English tests?
