“i put 4 dyalna”
rawkfist: i dont think 4 was a choice. i think your thinking of the division of two paragraphs question. I’m talking about the blind passage one with “after paragraph 1, after paragraph 2, after paragraph 5, etc.” as choices

Yeah, the answer to the graph question was choice A if i’m recalling it correctly

was the ferris wheel choice C or D? i forget which one i put, but my answer choice definitely had 12+(cos etc ), did both C and D have the 12+ and cosine?

dylanfan, it should be put after para. 5

can anyone explain the ferris wheel problem? how could you use “cos alpha” when there weren’t any right angles?

sry i typed in the wrong thread

daps: D
espilin: thanks thats what i put (i actually thought that that was the hardest question in the english)

dylan, just assume the angle is 90 degrees. Then the height must be radius + 12, so 52. The answer choice that works is 12+40-40cos(alpha) when u plug in 90 for alpha u get 0 for that term, so it works.

Do you guys remember if both choices C and D had 12+(cos and other stuff here)? Because I put one or the other, but I don’t know which.

i thought you were never supposed to assume something in a question. (not necessarily drawn to scale) if thats the case, i would think that this question has an error (by not providing sufficient information)

Daps, I believe so. One was Sin and one was Cos.

Zens: Alright, so choice C had sin and choice D had cosine? In that case, I think i got the question right since i put the one where it was cosine and 12 + (quantity here)

@daps

C was 12+ trig soemthing
D was correct (12+40-40cosa)
E was 12+40-40sina

The dry mass plant problem : if you added water it would have become lower right? im really confused on that one

no the mass would become higher.

I don’t remember if the question asked the PERCENT dry mass or just the dry mass.

Ferris wheel one: just plug 90 for alpha into all of the equations and see if you get 52 (12 + 40). You can also plug in 180 for alpha and see if you get 92 (52+40).

Science was the hardest for me…everything else I thought was fairly easy…
the last science section was killer… i hardly had any time…
questions:
what animals did you get when interpreting mieosis table…i got horse and dog…i think
also, what did you get for the last question on the science section about 6 doubles…i think i put 12…
how about the one with R and the pressure system where they said if they pour water once, but don’t refill…what will happen to r and why…more pressure or less pressure…?
and also the question with growth and soil and sample 1…i think i wrote less than 0.2…

English: I had 15 minutes left after checking my answers :
Math: I don’t know cos, sin, etc, so basically…fail! It was the hardest for me. I counted 14 that I circled that I either guessed/wasn’t sure on.
Reading: Normal… similar to AP lang.
Science: So many super easy questions, it was making me nervous! But I messed up on meiosis cause I forgot many of the rules.
Essay: Loved it! I hope I get the highest score number thing… is it 12? I want a 12. asdfjkl; haha

Last time I got a 29 composite score. If I got a 31 I’d be super happy. I think I could do it except for math might bring me down again… ugh

was one of the math answers like 1/tan( )?

daps for that one I put 1/cos(whatever number). but i can’t really remember what the question asked.

yeah i put 1/cos as well… i think

me too!
10 char
