It was something along the lines of “what is y/x” and the angle, we’ll say, was 4 degrees. So you had to figure out what y/x was, which was the hypotenuse over the adjacent side. That is the inverse of cosine, so it would be 1/cos.

@Aerienne: the pressure would lower if the water was not refilled because the water pressure would decrease. The deeper the water, the greater the water pressure, since there is more water above pushing down.
6 doubles would mean that after meiosis I there are 3 doubles per cell, and after meiosis II there would be 3 singles per cell. But I got horse and dog too, respectively.

Ah ok, i think i actually put 1/cos, i did use that logic, just didn’t remember which trig i put

i also put decrease, and lower pressure, but i put alligator instead of horse (prob got that wrong i guess, i wasn’t too sure on the last passage, haven’t taken bio since freshman year), and i put dog, but there were 2 choices with dog i think, which one was it?

was one of the science answers in the last passage 1?

it was like, there are 4 X cells, what does it end up as after meiosis

why am i remembering the -3i problem iwth it being under a radical? i know i put that answer choice but i remember a radical being tehre…does anyone remember if it was like the last choice or something?

alsoooo for the graph question with teh kids with b averages and speeding…i remember the first and third graph both were good answers…but one was better. i guess the first one? can someone explian why

Alright Steve Jobs question for you… There was an english question and sorry I don’t remember the wording but it had a list of three things… Do you put a comma after the last one?!

Science - Much easier for me, weird everyone is saying harder.
Reading - Tougher, 1st one was crazy and a bit of a confidence killer but i dominated 3 and 4.
Math - About the same maybe a bit tougher.
English - Same

I agree with what everyone else is saying…the first passage on the english was so hard…I got confused half way through…

math was harder than the previous tests I’ve taken…the I guessed on the ferris wheel question, the area under the curve question, and some others…but then again, I’m not good at math. I’m hoping for at least a 26

english was easy. science was easy except for maybe the last question regarding the number of single cells…

Today was the first time I’d taken the ACT, but the only section that seemed slightly harder than the red prep book was math. english and reading were fairly easy, and science had a few tough questions.

English was a breeze. I even had some time left over, so I checked over my answers and corrected 2 of them.

Reading wasn’t that bad. I thought the questions were pretty straightforward for the most part.

Math went pretty well. I thought it was much easier than June’s.

Science was not that bad. The first few sections were pretty smooth. The last section was one you really had to look at, so I made sure I reread the questions. Ultimately, I saw an error I had made which helped me out so much.
