What was the answer to the one in the first passage that asked “which statement about the narrator’s grandmother is supported by the passage?” And all of the answer choices were about how she worked for the king. One answer I specifically remember is “she learned about royalties through her father and then came to work for the king.”

I literally couldn’t find her relationship to the king anywhere in the passage other than the fact that she had been on many voyages with him in the past. Who knows the answer to this?

I felt the same way on that question and ended up spending five minutes on it. I couldn’t find her relationship to the king, not sure it mentioned her working for the king in the passage.

Me too, I skipped it at first but thought about it for like 5 minutes after I finished the other 9 questions about that passage, which was really stupid because I ended up running out of time at the end and just putting a random guess.

She did work for the king as some sort of flag bearer, her job was the word in italics. When I first read it I thought it was a title but then I realized it was her job. I don’t remember what the whole answer was but it involved her working for the king

i think i got -1 to -3. Only questions I’m worried about are political arena question, the hawaiin one about her working for the king, and the black and white question.

Ok lets end this, so is it argumentative or informative…
I made a thread which contains a link to vote for one or the other, I will count up results next week

i agree with coleword. It said it in the last paragraph on the left column of the passage. I just remember that because I got hype when I found it…

i am pretty positive it was correct since i found it in the passage i am just verifying. it was like which would most likely be toxic or something along those lines and i said grasshoppers who live in large groups and eat whatever food caused toxicity in their diets
