Acceptance rate is projected to be around 12.7% for REA this year btw.

And I like to party hardy too…but formals are as far as I’ll go haha. :)

12.7% is good, I think! That’s one-in-eight!

Hey Courtney, I’m pretty sure you told me you don’t party lol.

Just a question: What’s the weather like for everyone? Miami has yet to receive our cold front that’s usually due around this time… I’m probably heading down to the pool. (81 degrees)

Cold in the Bay. Brrrrr. (and Courtney don’t kill me hahaha)

Michelle, I told you I don’t drink or do drugs, which I told everyone else as well…
Also, your great weather is no fair. We’re at our warmest point of the weekend at 51 degrees…

Sigh what am I gonna do if I end up going to Wash U? Haha weather-wise, i might need to vamp my winter outfits by threefold if that’s the case.

Haha well Missouri isn’t as bad as some schools in the northeast! I promise, you get used to it REALLY quickly. There’s snow, and ice, but no blizzards. And it doesn’t get cold unusually early or stay cold until spring. Generally, it’s averages around 40ish degrees from mid-November to February. Totally manageable!

It’s still kinda summer here. I think the temperature today was 30°C, which I think means 85 degrees, not sure. I just went to the beach last week, really early, before the sun came up and it wasn’t cold at all.

I like Stanford’s climate :p

Well Nairobi’s weather has been PMS’in. Saturday was freezing (by our standards, tropical climate that is) averaging at about 59 F but today was really sunny hitting up to 84F its a bit confused… :)

Ditto Sarba, Cali weather… :D

It’s a little cloudy and in the mid 60’s here in the great state of Texas! It’s a beautiful day :0)

I’m from Boston. None of that complaining, please!

I left a water in my car and it froze and exploded. Yay November!

Its decided then, the period wannabe wins… :)

The period wannabe… That is funny!

I don’t think partying would be a problem at Stanford, after all the traditions such as Full Moon and Secret Snowflake. =D

I heard Frat/Sor life is small, but they’re filled with smart students, so it doesn’t get so out of control when compared to larger state schools. I also heard that the RAs in freshman dorms are pretty chill and there’s more chances to bond with other student, so it should make up for “bubble” and lack of things to do OFF campus. Student life is an important factor to me when choosing colleges since I like to have a balance of work and play!

Sarba, where I live = Stanford climate.

But yeah honestly I shouldn’t be complaining. I’ve lived in all sorts of weathers and norcal weathers unbeatable :)

@nerdess, what part of SF do you live in? I’m from San Mateo County, but unfortunately I tend to get hit with the fog for most of the year. Well, fog or terrible wind since San Mateo is pretty much surrounded on three sides by bodies of water (Pacific Ocean to the West, Bay to the East, SF harbor to the North). Palo Alto’s climate though is very similar to Southern California’s, which I looove.

California weather will be “cold” for me…hhahahaha

I’m in the Santa Clara County :]

Ahhh yeah you’re definitely right next to Stanford then haha. I was just down there for an FBLA conference last month. At the Mariott I think… across from GA.
