^ what?
I don’t even understand what to understand

NOW I understand it…its so simple! If they are talking about you, you have still not been rejected. But if they are still talking about you, it means that you have not been accepted either. Maybe that phone conversation is a tipping factor-the final straw.

Good luck Courtney! I’m with you!

Yupp… good luck Courtney :)

I feel left out that all of y’all are friends on facebook.

Someone should start a Stanfod REA group.

I think they like you soo much that there is nothing as pleasing to them as hearing all about your awesomeness (knavery??
)

I think it is a good sign. It show that you’ve made it to the final deliberations… Hooray Court!!! ( Hope you don’t mind me calling you that, I once had a girl also called Courtney who hated it when i called her that…
)

^

in fb? We did try that last year, but it gets confusing and complicated, as fb deleted the group we had started quite a few times, and as far as I know, there will also be an official group formed after the decisions…

@courtney, emma
I miss you guys too… damn.

And Emma, how come you haven’t accepted my add request on skype yet :p

@all
I. AM. GOING. NOCTURNAL. FROM. TODAY…

well… only sorta since I have tutoring to do at 8 AM… I think I will sleep at 2 AMish xD

Haha Kimathi, call my Court all you want! I’ve found that some of my most favorite people call me Court! And yes! I’m so excited about this! The teacher who they called is like my second mother- she listens to my problems, holds me when I cry, etc.
She said she’ll do whatever she can to get me in so I’m sure hoping! :/

^

that’s great to hear :)

I think thats a great sign that they are even taking time to find out more about you!!! Especially from someone who cares so much about you!! I’d be extremely excited if I was you… :D

We are all rooting for you!!

Hey everyone!

I broke my computer and went through some serious cc w/drawal - so I stole my dad’s. oops. I’m twitching here - it’s now a matter of days until we hear. SO scary.

Also, one of my safeties emailed to say that the college board hadn’t sent my scores, so I had a minor heart attack. It was awful.

All in all a stressful week.

BUT I’m willing to be wulfran looks like the cute kitten… although, really, has anyone ever seen an ugly kitten? I guess it’s realtive, but I would say you’re set either way :)

Just a note…

once I’m done with a little bit of lingering work, I’m thinking of re-starting “the things we have blabbered about” (and yes, I will be re-reading 1800+ posts :p)

omg yes do it that would be hilarious!

^

:D :p

come on fb?

Aw Sarba Emma just texted me and was like “I wish I could get on Facebook and talk to Sarba!” it was Soooo cute
I love how we’re all getting so close!!!

hey…
yupp… we are getting really close. :)

But darn! Decisions depress me ever more when I think about our closeness :(

I just saw that the post peaks were at around 11.30 PM (my time) and at 7 - 8AMish…

8 AM I gotta do tutoring… and me being nocturnal definitely won’t help…
I think I’ll just go at 12.30 and come back at 6.00ish for ~ 1.5 hours before leaving for the tutoring center :p

Hello again everybody
And to Courtney, I’d take the conference as a positive sign if I were you. The fact that they’re calling your teacher means that they’re still undecided about your decision, and by talking to someone who knows you so well and can write so many good things about you, this may very well be the thing that tips you into the ‘Accept’ pile! :D

^

you do realize, Courtney, that the call itself should be making you happy, as it has boosted your admission chances by roughly 400%

and that is assuming you now have a 50% chance of getting in. Your teacher will definitely tip the scales further in your favor :D

Exactly what Sarba just said. As for me and all the other Stanford REA folk, we have absolutely no idea how our files fared in the application review process. Since we weren’t offered a tip we were all probably either clearly accepted or clearly rejected (more of the latter unfortunately…).

is anyone here good at physics/could explain problems to me? I need help with an online homework!!
