Completely agree. Barcelona is right behind Manchester in my faves. And I do despise Real, so it was a win-win situation all around!

Well, the usual suspects… people who don’t take school seriously at ALL, people who are disruptive in class… though there WAS an incident a few years back where a student threw a CHAIR through a window (and broke it, obviously), and never confessed even though the principal knew who he was. I don’t know the full details about that story since I’m a newcomer (only just moved to this school this year). I should ask.

And yes, people pretty much take the same classes lol.

CC celebrity has more to do with the prominence and frequency of one’s posting, as well as the impressiveness of his or her academic stats, than anything. So you’re probably right: coolness has nothing to do with it.

Honestly, I haven’t seen much egoism on the part of any posters, except, of course, that of the tongue-in-cheek variety.

I’m not sure; I haven’t checked the Yale thread much. I suppose, though, that that fact alone is quite telling. :)

Just some validation that I really did have dinner with Miss America ;)

2645

@ Courtney’s post that silverturtle just quoted: I just checked the Yale SCEA 2015 thread. They are nowhere close; in fact, we have close to three times as many posts as they do!

2646

Whoops, double post

2647

That would have hurt my feelings if I wasn’t so narcissistic.

2648

jason, berry nice! :)

hello, jersey! are you a CC-celeb?

@soccerfan5
If we both end up at Stanford next year, we’re going to have to watch games together

2653

@ kt1993: Well, it certainly is a different type of learning environment. :p

2654

editing this

KITTIES! we like the last one the most. :P

2657

@michelle I’d be down for that! Assuming everything goes well with my decision hahah  do you have facebook? we should be friends :)

2658

Hahahahahahahaha! Yay for kitties, I guess. I actually laughed out loud at that last picture. :D

2659

Barcelona fans? Well, at least you’re not Bayern Muenchen  Then we’d have some problems. Personally, I loooooooove Bayer-Leverkusen, and TSV 1860, but 1860 is in the 2nd German league.

My google calendar is set so I get reminders for all the soccer games. :P

2660

@nerdness - That just made my day. That last cat gave me chills
