I took the SAT once, and it was ok, so I decided to just go take the ACT for the lolz. ANd I did pretty well there, so my overall testing experience was ok.

Back on games!

Anyone play NBA 2k11?, Team Fortress 2? Left 4 Dead 2, valve games?

You’re so lucky to be living in the Northeast and close to all those colleges. I haven’t seen ANY of the campuses of the colleges I’m applying to (with the exception of Princeton in 2006, the summer before 8th grade, and UC Irvine earlier this year, but I was only there for an hour).

Wait so… what I’m gathering from some of these posts is: basically everyone else here is applying to the Ivies + Stanford?
Oh boy am I an outsider.
Was I supposed to introduce myself? Heyy, I’m Amrita, I grew up in Oakland and then moved to Massachusetts for high school. I play soccer, am a huge book nerd and music freak, and love to write things. Lots of things. Everything.
Re: SATs - I was actually failing miserably hard on the Princeton Review practice tests (I couldn’t break 700 on the Critical Reading section ahh) but the actual test turned out muuuuch easier. It was weird, but I didn’t mind :)

@amrita464,
So far, I am NOT applying to any Ivies (was considering Penn, depends on if Stanford says yes or not). My next top two choices are Berkeley and Georgetown, followed by UVA/Hopkins/NYU.

And you’re a soccer player? Wow so many soccer advocates here. Just finished a game today actually. We won. Woop.

BTW: IT IS GETTING COLDER HERE. COLD FRONT = 58 this morning. LOLS

My two ivies are Princeton and Columbia! second-choice Princeton. (in all honesty, wherever will accept me haha)

minnieeeee I’m so jealous I’ve never visited any ivy leagues except for harvard. I reaaaaally want to go see Princeton! I heard it’s magnificent :0
