*Official* Stanford REA 2015 Applicants' Discussion Thread

Lol the comment about the real UN is totally trueeeee. Props for that one.
Sorry I’ve missed out on posting this weekend. It’s been kinda hectic.

So the “cold front” has passed over Miami. It’s back in the 70s and sunny, which is b-e-a-utiful

It’s the last Sunday before decisions! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I think I will have a last supper tonight to celebrate.

Yo crmchi have you heard the mix Until One by SHM?? Crazy S h i t!!!

But I digress, Decision Week!!! Olala!!! :O

Five. Days. X____X

Reallyreal and I were having this conversation- if you were accepted to Stanford and had to choose between all freshmen or 4 class housing, which would you choose?

@kimathi

SHM? as in Simple Harmonic Motion xD

I don’t know whether I want it to be Friday already, or if I don’t want it to come…

mmm…, 4 class I think, not sure yet…

either housing would be interesting

What’s 4 class housing?

I don’t know if we’ll make it to 6,000 for friday. It would be really hard

Jess- four class housing is when they have all four classes: freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors all in the same dorm.

@itzjessicaa
It’s housing with people from every year: freshmen through seniors

@ Swirley20: Our goal wasn’t 6,000 for Friday; it was 4,000. That’s probably more reasonable. :p

Oooh I see. Hmm…that’d be a tough choice actually…

Didn’t last year’s Stanford REA thread reach 5000?

We’ll get there eventually, because I assume we’ll keep talking after decisions are released. Plus, we can expect a TON of posts on Friday because everyone will be on at once to share decisions.

we need to beat last year

but another thread was started to share decisions

That thread is only for posting stats and what your actual decision was… We’ll be coming back here to discuss our decisions for sure.

Alsoo all-freshman vs. 4-class… I dunno. From what I’ve heard the all-freshman dorms are the most social whereas the 4-class dorms tend to be the most quiet… I can see the advantages of getting advice from people from other classes, though. I think the FroSoCo (Freshman-Sophomore College) sounds really appealing since it’s a mix of both :P

The decision sharing thread is not to discuss; it is to post your decisions and your stats so future applicants can have an idea of what to expect. This will suffice for discussing, I believe we’ve decided.
