Haha, us rejectees are qualifying it… The three acceptees I know personally are all Siemens finalists and grand awards winners at the international science fair.

Rejected. I had my hopes up too high. At least I know there are other people in the same bout as I am. =/

rejected. Now to wait until April 1.

is it me or despite the fact we are told countless times this process is random, we are qualified enough to be admitted but weren’t, blah blah blah i still feel dejected? Reading the lines “We regret to inform you…” and seeing a link pasted, titled “Rejected by Stanford? You’ll live” just makes me feel like garbage. I don’t understand this whole admissions process. It really hurts a lot more than I thought it would.

Rejected. sigh

applications are gonna be so expensive

Wow, it is indeed a bloodbath here. Tons of rejections. Very few deferrals and acceptances in between.

I just went through a few pages and complied this information as of right now based on people’s responses

Stanford SCEA results (as of now):
Accepted: 8
Deferred: 4
Rejected: 22

Total Applicants (as of now): 34

Percent acceptance rate (as of now): 23.5%

(If there are any mistakes with the data that I compiled, feel free to correct it. :D)

If you want to continue adding on to this, please copy and paste the dotted line border and the data included within the border(s), add onto the data (accepted/deferred/rejected) and add it to your post if you want. Thanks!

@Momo

Siemens Regional Finalist
USABO Silver Medalist.
Still Deferred.

^ That 23.5% isn’t that bad to be honest. I guess we’re just a more qualified group of kids in general at CC than the applicant pool.

rejected, it’s not sooo bad, but still annoying

that’s more than the percentage last year overall

Rejected… :(

It just sucks cause no one else gets how difficult it is to get in. All my friends were like yeahh, you’ll totally get in. And then all they have to say is sorry when I had to tell them I was rejected. And now the worrying sets in.

if you even applied to stanford REA, I think that you’re probably good enough to get in a LOT of other places

Rejected.

But that must be for the best. I’ll probably end up much happier at another university. Otherwise I would have been accepted (because had I been accepted there’s a 100% chance I would have gone to Stanford no matter what). So it must not have been for me.

Congrats to everyone that was accepted though! Stanford is a great university. Maybe I’ll apply again for graduate school. :P

this girl from my school got in.
jealousy much?
:/

Accepted!
(International residing in the U.S.)

yeah, a little, but there are lots of other places

so many rejections, it really was a bloodbath

HAHAHAHAHAH

I did not even receive any email~!!!1

WOYWOWYOWOYWOYOWYOWYOWYO:WYO:WEUY

I think Stanford has wrong email. I am sure I gave them the right email.
I am the only one who didn’t hear anything from STANFORD
YAY ME!!!skfd,jxcvnakjzmn

I will just take that as “REJECTED”

So,
