*Official* Stanford REA 2015 Applicants' Discussion Thread

Accepted :)

i am so happy right now. i’m sorry for all those rejected.

well, now that it is over, I will forget about it

Deferred. I was expecting a rejection though so no worries :)

omg accepted!!!

rejected in NC

I got rejected. Luckily, after my 2-hour long MIT interview yesterday, I now want to go to MIT a lot more than before, so the rejection doesn’t sting as much. I’m surprisingly calm about it, actually.

Now to sit back and relax and wait for the rest of the decisions to pour in towards March and April…

Accepted! :)

@Brain Twin: knave. :frowning: Guess we’re twins in rejection too? Not looking at MIT, but I have stars in my eyes for Brown now.

Time to start workin on those ~10 other apps… haha

Just stopping by to say to you Stanford REAers that regardless of this decision, most of you will end up at some pretty spectacular colleges, as evidenced by the CC applicant pools of previous Stanford REA rounds.

accepted here in NJ! IM SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW! this is unbelievable… congrats to everyone accepted, and best of luck to those attending another great university next year =]

Sorry, I don’t post a lot on this site but I got accepted!!!

To all the REA’ers: I know I wasn’t accepted, but I would never have given up the past couple of months for the world. No matter what happens, I’m certain you’ll all get into fabulous colleges, because I know personally that you’re all amazing people. Sure, rejection hurts, but remember that it always turns out for the best in the end. You might even find another college later that you’d be a much better fit at!

Now I have to worry about my younger sister because she stayed home sick today, and when I went home, I rang the doorbell/knocked loudly for about 10-15 minutes with no one answering. After a couple of hours, I returned and rang the doorbell again, still to no avail. I hope she’s okay. I’m a lot more concerned about her than I am about my rejection at this point, because she’s my only sister :(

I hope she’s ok too.

Congrats to everyone who got in!!!

ACCEPTED from Virginia

It seems like we are getting a lot of acceptances- an unusually high percentage. I am sure other rejectees will report in within the next few days as the sting wears off.

Great job, acceptees!!! To everyone else, I am sure there is a university for us- it’s just not in Palo Alto.

@Fledgling, I hope your sister is alright!!!

I got accepted!! I’m from North Carolina:)

…Now I just have to find a way to pay for it…hope that works out!!

Accepted from Indiana!

I haven’t posted on this thread before, but rejected from Virginia. :frowning: I’ll get over it. Congrats to all those who got in! I’m sure you deserved it.
