*Official* Stanford REA 2015 Applicants' Discussion Thread

Update: my sister’s fine. She was just conveniently asleep the first time I came to the door, and the second time, she arrived too slowly. :stuck_out_tongue:

She really freaked me out though. I’m just glad she’s safe now. :D

^I’m glad to know you’re sister’s fine :)

I got deferred, but I’m just going to move on and put my best foot forward with my other apps. God has a funny way of working things out.

rejection from ohio

Accepted from Virginia!

rejected…
Congratulations for those lucky ones!
Just let me cry for a while~T_T

accepted from Texas!

So did people who got accepted already get a letter in the mail? Are they only sending out letters to those who got accepted?

rejected. not sad, just worried.

Accepted! Guy786, nothing in the mail today.

Deferred.

Congratulations to those of you who were accepted!

Rejected from California

I wonder if now you’re all gonna continue posting here, or if this is the end of this thread…

Dino, are you kidding? Once you post “rejected by Stanford” it’s time to move on with life. Y’all probably have some other great opportunities in the works, so time to let the weight off of your shoulders and take advantage of better things ahead.

reeeeeejected from virginia

^^ Yeah, but some people here have been talking for a while, and have become close friends, I actually was wondering if those people will keep on talking after this, even if some of them are rejected. But it came out all wrong xD

where is sarbraj’s result??

@Dinouchie: I’m going to keep talking to people, but I’m friends with them on Facebook, so this is probably going to be my last post on this thread.

Hey guys, a desperate newbie here…I haven’t gotten an e-mail from Stanford yet, and I’m freaking out. Of the eight people who applied in my grade only one has been accepted of the other seven…and I’m the one unknown. I checked my Stanford application status over Axess and the following things were listed under “credentials processed” - application fee, application and supplement, ssr, transcript, teacher evaluations 1 and 2, and official SAT/ACT scores. Nothing was listed under “Parts not yet processed.” Guys, can you at least convince me I didn’t mess anything up during the application process? Cuz it seems like everything was reviewed…I have the patience to wait as long as I didn’t mess anything up.

@hymanator: Go log into the Common App and check which email you gave Stanford on the supplement, to make sure that you’re checking the right one. Then, if you haven’t already, go browse through the FAQs to make sure there isn’t anything that might relate to your situation (e.g. whether to call or email, or whether there’s a question specifically related).

If you’re checking the right email and still don’t have a decision, you should probably call them (or whatever the website recommends) on Monday.

Ok, I checked the e-mail and that’s all good. I put in my normal e-mail. I searched the FAQs but they were mostly related to how the Common App itself works. The Stanford website said due to technical issue/delays emails could come until Wednesday…so I guess I just have to wait. This sucks.

Also, now that its the weekend, will I not get an e-mail until Monday? Wow, that would be terrible.
