LOL! 10char…

How about this: I’ll graduate without ever having a single AP class. Make ya feel better?

oh my god so much better. does your school offer them though?

Eh. Maybe like one or two. But my school’s an IB school, so I have a full IB schedule.

sameeeeeeee doodoo

You’re an IB student?

what does 10char mean?? :S

^

It’s a filler. CC doesn’t let us post messages with less than 10 characters. :p

hurries back in Hey! So I’m at school now but we’re working in the computer lab for the time being. CrazySmiles, about your question as to how I learned all the languages I know: I was raised bilingual (English and Mandarin) because my parents are Chinese, and I was born in Canada but raised in Singapore (where students are required to take their “mother tongue” as well as English in school). Then in 3rd grade I lived in Montreal and went to a public elementary school where everything, including math, was taught in French, and I quickly became fluent and have managed to maintain it at that level or better. Spanish I’ve been studying since 7th grade, and German began in the 9th grade but I had a major breakthrough this past summer when I took a 3-week long intensive immersion course in Germany. I scored 5’s on the AP’s in English, Chinese, French, and Spanish, and will be taking AP German this upcoming May So, yeah. That’s my story :D

I fit that description, except that instead of 8 AP exams I have 7 :p

Laaaaame overachiever we are watching a documentary about origami in biology instead of learning like we’re supposed to…

you’re all making me feel so bad with all your APs and IBs and everything… =(

You get what you get, and you don’t throw a fit. I tell that to the kids I babysit all the time. It’s so true though. Some of us haven’t had the opportunities to take AP classes, or travel the world, or learn a different language. But you make the most of what you have, and hope Stanford understands that.

REmember, most of these AP scores wont’ even work at Stanford. Now THATS depressing.

wise words courtney (:

you’re right, I know that, but still, it worries me… xD

It’s kind of hard to hear about the amazing lives of y’all, but you just have to realize that we’re all unique.

@courtneyenpointe

They’ve been telling “in context” a lot. So I hope they will :)

It’s kind of hard to hear about the amazing lives of y’all, but you just have to realize that we’re all unique.

It’s true, we’re all different, so sometimes we can’t compare ourselves.

so, when are you planning on sending your applications? =)
