Shiiiiit… What’s the CSS profile and CoF and why don’t I know anything about it?

^

They’re for financial aid.

CSS: http://profileonline.collegeboard.com
CoF: you won’t require it – it’s for internationals.

Submitted the Stanford app yesterday at 8 PM!

I still gotta do the CSS Profile though.

About to get rolling with this Stanford App (as in, I’m going to start looking at it). Excitement.

…please tell me you’ve got the wrong thread?

whats the CoF??? im international and have no idea what it is…
is it also for financial aid?

International Student Certificate of Finances. It is required for the college to issue us an I-20 application form.

Send my Supplement + CommonApp last night Right before I went out to party!!! lol! felt great. :)

Halfway through my CSS Profile and done my Part of the CoF, Mum will take it to the bank this week.

When is the application actually due? Midnight tomorrow night or tonight? O_o;;

Its due by 11:59 tomorrow night (Mon. November 1st).

Tomorrow at 11:59 PM? I really hope so. I have everything ready but my teacher hasn’t finished my letter of recommendation! I told him three weeks in advance but I think he forgot, I’ve been reminding him over and over but I don’t know what’s going on. Can I submit without the letter of recommendation or do I have to wait?

You can submit without your letters of rec- it doesn’t all have to be done at the same time. Is the CSS required?

by nov 15 courtney.

Gee, thanks I’m assuming you’re from SoCal too?

CSS isn’t required if you’re not applying for financial aid, right?

please tell me so.

I would think not… I’m not doing either

So I’m not going to count on Stanford accepting me, so it’s time to apply to other schools.

Where are you all applying to?

@ BigKev: I posted this already but I’m also applying to Harvard, Columbia, MIT, Princeton, Penn, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Boston College, UCSD, Northeastern, and UC Irvine.

@ everyone: I just took a peek in the Yale forum and saw that they’ve already created an official SCEA decisions pledge thread. I think we should do the same. :)

FINALLY submitted my application! Hope everything goes well.

:o

@BigKev: I’m also applying to HYP, Duke, and UNC - Chapel Hill.
