<p>Ugh I’m so afraid I’ll get rejected and then I’ll be too humiliated to tell my decision</p>
<p>Applying to MIT, Cornell, MIT, Princeton, Arcadia, FIT, and some UK Unis (UoManchester, UoSheffield, Aston Uni, Imperial College, UCL) Actually already have 3 offers from the Uk. IF Stanford rejects me as do the other US unis, at least I have somewhere to go…</p>

<p>So I have my version of the Common App essay that makes fun of the Old Spice commercial, and the version that’s more mundane. Safe to put in the Old Spice one?</p>

you should have someone you trust to give their honest opinion read it over for you, and tell you if you pulled it off, or if it comes off as too forced</p>
<p>While I’ve never read your essay, I believe that it’s always worth taking a risk. Anything to stand out, right?</p>

<p>^^Oh, what I meant was whether it was safe to assume they’d seen the commercial. XD The Old Spice one is definitely better than the other one, but it’s a moot point if they just flat-out don’t get it…</p>
