Well they’re only available to students in certain regions… So soccerfan5, welcome to the group of us who wish we could have an interview too! Did anyone else SAT II it up this morning besides Jason?

I took the subject tests in Math II, Literature (again!), and Chinese. Chinese was ridiculously easy (but I’m a native speaker lol). Math II was easier than I’d expected, and Literature was REALLY easy this time around. Plus, I’m pretty sure I saw at least 2 or 3 of the passages before.

@soccerfan5: I know what you mean! I know my counselor will probably only miss the dates by a day or two once all the paperwork is sorted out, but I’m deadly afraid that she didn’t tell me all the stuff I needed to know about the difference between the paper and the internet versions. Willing to bet that there’s at least one form she’s going to tell me she wanted that she didn’t mention earlier…

Gahh that has to be scary for you guys who are waiting on counselor stuff! Axess finally confirmed that they had processed everything necessary today and it was a HUGE relief. Best of luck to y’all!

The axess email only tells whether they only got the “Official SAT or ACT Scores.” What if you sent both the SAT and the ACT? How would you be able to confirm that Stanford has received both?

What day do you think they’ll actually email their decisions this year?

Most people say on the 13th.

Ditto! I think the 13th as well! Thats when they have emailed people the past 2 years. December 13th at 3.pm PST

maybe the 10th :)

My bet is on the 10th.
For last year, the first posts on the REA Decisions thread are actually from the 11th. That was the Friday just before the 15th. For the year before, the first posts on the thread are from the 12th- again, the Friday just before the 15th. This year, that date is the 10th.

So we can expect our decisions three days earlier than everyone says. XDDD Although I’d like to know where the idea of the 13th being D-Day came from, since neither of the last two years used that date…

I expect it to be the 10th too.

I guess it’s just that undertone the number 13 carries. :p

I guess the Stanford Slaughter is pretty unlucky? :P

Well just gone onto the Stanford admissions Website [Admission News : Stanford University](<a href=“Page Not Found : Stanford University”>Page Not Found : Stanford University) <===== for the unbelievers lol! :)

and this is the trend

REA Fall 2008: 15th December 2008
REA Fall 2009: 11th December 2009

So REA Fall 2010 could be 10th assuming they want to be done before the weekend. Lol! but that is the trend according to the site. :)

the 13th could very well be, because of the average xD

In fall '08 it says they were mailed on the 15th. I think that’s because it’s the official decision date. I’m sticking with the 12th for the emails, though.

^Why can’t you like CC posts?

NOT THE 12TH!!! Any day but that. That’s my 18th birthday :(

No, no- the 12th was two years ago.

I’m hoping it’s the 10th, just so I can find out my decision earlier

D’agree!!!

Well, if we account for the standard deviation…

just kidding :)
