hahah you betcha! I’m like this most of the time. For instance, I’m the type who goes to a formal/prom spending a good third of the time hanging out by the dessert buffet. The other third goes to dancing, another third, socializing and pictures. :D

I’m working on my UC essays. My essays for Stanford were so perfect and polished, it’s so weird to be starting over with a the beginnings of an essay all over again. :-/

Your formals have dessert buffets? o_0

Mao–gl on UC apps. I submitted mine, only to realize afterwards that I accidentally put “Principles of Business” under A-G approved. =________=
I don’t think it’ll affect my admission, but still, my hastiness didn’t quite pay off this time.

BUT on the bright side, UC waived my app fee! I was so surprised! $180 saved is $180 earned. :D

and yes, our formals have dessert [and appetizers] all-you-can-eat buffets! :]

How do you guys know it’s going to be the 10th when decisions are released?
Ps I’m an orange county girl

WEST COASTTTTTTT <3

@Clowiebear, Stanford has a habit of releasing decisions the Friday afternoon before the official release date that is on the website. They’ve done this for a few years now, and this year, that would be the 10th. They also do this for regular decision applicants.

^Though the next April 1 is a Friday…

WOO…I’m submitting USC today
Now I can sit back and relax and wait for my decision…

***OH and here’s a joke I heard a week ago (Sorry if some of you have heard it already)

“9 out of 10 girls in California are pretty, the tenth goes to Stanford”

18 days it is then

18?! How does the time manage to pass by so fast? I’m not sure whether I’d want it to hurry up or slow down (since that depends largely on the decision I’ll be getting).

i would go with hurry up, because then we can either hit the senior slide really hard, or start with our other applications… i just want to know!!!

^ That’s a very valid point, though I really wouldn’t like time to speed up because I’m taking the Physics subject test on December 4th and am NOT looking forward to that at all…

Haha Michelle, I actually laughed at loud at your joke, and then my psych teacher made me read it out loud to the class… We enjoyed it
less than three weeks now, guys!

@fledgling
Good luck :)

@courtneyenpointe
cool!

Thanks sarbaraj.
I just got out of English class, and for our newest unit on satire, we were given a handout with the different techniques employed in the genre. One of them was called “Knaves and Fools”. Guess who I thought of when I read that :p

^^^^^^^
Our beloved Wulfran… :D

Hahahahahaha exactly! Just for the record (in case you’re reading this), we love you Wulfran. You and all your knaves :D

Sorry but whattttt is a knave!?
