YEAAHHH
GOO STANFORD
yep
i spent one summer there
fell in love with it

Regarding Korea,

it’s quite tragic. It’s actually really complicated, but bottom line: hoping for the best. I lived there for eleven yrs. It’s a beautiful country. Honestly most of the news headline is to aggravate/provoke the other nations who doubt DPRK’s powers. Again, complicated, but I’m hoping that my friends and family will be safe!

I wish Stanford conducted interviews in my area, but anyhow I thought this might help other applicants: www.stanford.edu/dept/uga/pdf/interview_handbook.pdf. I laughed at the Great Gatsby reference. ;-)

^

I’d love to have an interview too.

What frightens me is that our decisions could already have been made… or the adcoms might be reading our files as we speak…

Thanks for the link topramennbaklava.

Interesting stats on page 5. Only 35% of 2400ers get accepted, and 32% of the admitted students have SATs between 1800-2099.

@sarbara, it has been announced that the reading process has started, but according to that document, committees will meet after Thanksgiving break, so I don’t think any decisions have been made yet except for QB students.

I also agree with Harambee, it’s one of the first time I saw stats that show composite SAT scores rather than ones that SIMPLY present individual subsections.

^

thanks for the info… that ominous feeling in me can rest for a while then xD

@top
So they have chosen the Questbridge students who are going to get the scholarship?

I was accepted into Harvard, Princeton, Duke And Stanford. I am going to Stanford!!! Class of 2015. Yeah Baby!!!

@rockon howd u get ur accepentance decisions so early…

@topramennbaklava the link isnt opening for me??

rockon110 is lying, obviously. So, everyone, what are your SAT scores? :D

I wish i applied rea to stanford. it’s my favorite school, but it’s across the nation (jersey). My parents wanted me to go for yale scea instead.
I <3 stanford and already applied rd, but I gotta say… you guys r so chill compared to the guys on the yale thread.

Essentially, its a bunch of egotistical nerds who have to tell the rest of the world that they got perfect scores on everything :(. enough of my problems. Just wanna say guys, EXACTLY 3 WEEEEEKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!! Good Luck!!!

SAT II’s (one sitting): math 2 c: 800, Biology molecular: 770, Physics 740 :)

^

thanks :)

@mickjagger
I don’t think SAT score revelation at the moment is a good idea… lets wait until the decisions come out… what’s the decisions thread for :p

@ Sarbaraj101

Remember you asked me where i had read that 65% of 2400ers are rejected, well i think I just remembered… :D

^

hahaha… yeah… I saw that too xD

16 days, guys
thanks for the link, topramennbaklava!
How’s everyone celebrating Thanksgiving?

In rough confinement. I’ve been grounded for about a month now. So I’ll be “enjoying” my Thanksgiving having a mediocre dinner with my sister and my dad. The day after though, I’m reuniting with my friend from Orlando and she’s coming with my family to go see the new Cirque du Soleil.

wooo…

And that’s how you’re grounded??
Why does everything seem so much more exciting in Miami…

It’s Thanksgiving break everybody!! :D

I know! It was wonderfully nice to sleep in during the middle of the week! I hope everyone has an enjoyable yet productive break :)
