They sent one to me in this sealed package…

I got it too

I got the sealed booklet some time ago.

and @mba8inAZ Not too much of a Young the Giant fan, but I adore Zero 7.

mehmehmehmeh

Anyone called today? Finally the pressure is beginning to get to me.

I think we should make a pledge, as a whole thread, that we won’t call again until decisions come out. It’s not going to change anything, is it?

Were there any interviews this year?

@dapotatoman let’s hope not, we don’t need any more anxiety causers in this thread!

also, DID WE HAVE TO TURN THE CSS PROFILE IN? I thought that was ONLY for ED, whereas EA we have several more months (assuming, contrary to reality, that they actually accept people) to do the FAFSA and CSS…

Who turned in their CSS profile and where did it indicate to do so?

I turned the CSS profile in. The deadline is posted here:
[Applying for Aid : Stanford University](<a href=“Financial Aid : Stanford University”>Financial Aid : Stanford University)

Ugh. I thought everything was due by March 1. Dang it.

I’ll just call the FA office if I (by some miracle) get admitted.

In addition to fighting the nerves over Stanford I am playing in a CIF Championship game tomorrow. Anyone have meditation techniques? Haha

I haven’t contacted the office once…
I just rely on you guys to do it :)

I’m trying to convince myself that decisions won’t get sent tomorrow, so that I won’t get disappointed should they not be. Even if we call, they’d say that they aren’t sure when decisions will be released. I just hope it’s not like 2009, when they announce they’re sending decisions on their website just an hour before they do…

It took me forever to fall asleep last night :(

If you applied EA, the CSS Profile was due 11/15 as they issue financial aid decisions at the same time as admissions decisions (or by 12/15). I would imagine, however that you should be able to submit the form still if you’re accepted although it may take awhile for you to receive a financial aid offer. I recommend calling the financial aid office to inquire.

I just went to the grocery store to get some food before bball practice and there was a woman there wearing a Stanford sweatshirt. I ran into her in like every aisle. All I kept thinking was “Will the kids on cc think this is a SIGN?”

For some reason, I had a “feeling” that the announcement would be posted today, but so far no such luck. :(

@newtocollege I think it is! I watched a video in psychology today that mentioned Stanford and I thought it was a sign… Thus my “feeling.”

Haha try going through a day without seeing/hearing Stanford

Read this–an inside look at Tuft’s admissions committee–from what I’ve heard and what Stanford has told us, I imagine this is how it is going for us as well:

[Inside Admissions Tufts University Admissions Department](<a href=“Jury Duty · Inside Admissions | Tufts Admissions”>Jury Duty · Inside Admissions | Tufts Admissions)

I also have to keep remembering that this committee is comprised of human beings. There is a vague reference to CC on here too, haha

I have a sinking feeling that Stanford won’t release decisions tomorrow.
