Sorry, had to go get something to eat and now off to study. Good luck to all.

Dapotatoman and the other ID before the decision email person- it sure sounds like an acceptance, at the worst a deferral so follow the links and see where it takes you…

The email will show up later, Cyberspace has its mysterious ways.

Nope. All it says is “for security purposes we are sending your Stanford ID in a separate email” and that’s it. Looks like you got in, congrats! :)

ok guys, having been rejected, which school would you consider best for business and computer sciences: USC, Vanderbilt, or Berkeley? Or do any of you have another suggestion?

Hey, I guess I’m really late. I couldn’t check any earlier. But I was accepted!! Thanks for this group guys. It was really a solace in the last hours before the decisions

Does anyone have any stats on what percentage of DEFERRED applicants are admitted during the upcoming RD round? 5%? 10%? 20%? 50%?

Is there a ray of hope? Or is “deferred” just a kinder way of saying “sorry”…

And a hearty congrats to those fortunate ones who received an acceptance! May this “win” take some great weights off your shoulders.

In the deferral email, it says that about 15% of deferred students get accepted in the RD round. ughh
and I’m confused about the login stuff for deferred applicants. I never got an email saying that I would get a login…? would that even make sense considering I’m still considered an applicant?

@tugtraveller: I feel ya… I was deferred too. The email says “Although we cannot predict the likelihood of gaining admission, in each of the past four years approximately fifteen percent of deferred candidates have been admitted.” I guess for now, we just work as hard as we can and hope for the best! Best of luck!
