The strokes, vampire weekend, strfckr, yuck, tokyo police club, beck, OK Go, the fratellis, the killers…I could go on ;)

Senior year has been pretty depressing so far for me though. Seems everything cool about being a senior got trashed- I don’t get the senior exclusive privilege of sleeping in when I have study hall first period because I have physics lab. I’m young for a senior plus I don’t have a car anyways so I can’t drive, hence the other senior privelige of going out to lunch is wasted too (I don’t trust any of my friends to drive me anywhere haha). My literature teacher is insane, and my AP physics teacher is teaching AP for her first year (hence we learn nothing and have hard tests). Our class council didn’t bother looking at any of the student submitted senior shirt designs so we have crappy ones too haha.

On the plus side I’m going to Hawaii on Saturday :D

Ohh, congrats on the trip to Hawaii. Also, nice music.

And I feel pretty much the same way about senior year. I’m bored, I’m not enjoying school anymore (yes, I am/was one of those kids who oddly actually liked school), and I don’t even know what I’m going to DO next semester…

Haha same here! I’m just kickin back and dgaf’ing… I’m so done with high school and this stupid curriculum… I want to study what I actually enjoy haha

I had senioritis last year. this kind of itis has no title. If not for basketball and two vacations coming up (and basketball) I’d probably go insane. Or skiing.

And Harold and Kumar was VERY good… it had a few crack up moments, and it kept me chuckling throughout the whole thing.

I thought I had senioritis junior year, but senior year… holy crap. I missed a whole day of school (I didn’t ditch, I had conflicts) and I wasn’t behind at all.

I wish they would give out EA results earlier so that I could decide if I want to slave through more apps. Finding out December 15th gives us only two weeks, which is NOTHING.

I LOVE Senior year, thus far! I’m bored with academics, but my football team and I went 9 and 1, with playoffs next week! I can’t wait!!! And I have 17 interceptions, 12 forced fumbles, and 121 tackles!

@avtrox, talking about Selena Gomez, one of our offensive linemen on the team LOVES HER! He beat the living crap outta somebody, because they said Selena Gomez can’t sing.

I love Taylor Swift and she is HOT as hell!

What is your favorite place in the world? I love Chicago and Tokyo!!

I’ve just finished reading every single comment on this thread. Now where’s the like button??? I would of liked probably 90% of the comments! :D

Oh and I also turned in my REA application before the deadline. OOHHHH man!
Anxiety + Senioritus since Freshmen year + waiting for Stanford Decisions = ijeowafjklxc, vahfiw.

@ThousandMiles, ugh yes prom… last year prom itself was fantastic it was just finding the dress and paying for hair and sulking through extra babysitting jobs to pay for all of it!!! this year it’s even more of a problem since we can’t wear the same design/color from last year. god. I already used up red and nothing else loooks as good on me… d’you guys think white (or ivory) is too dressy for prom??

@squidgetx, I sympathize, my IB Physics teacher doesn’t know what she’s talking about either:P and because she “doesn’t get” it we are skipping on Relativity for our options, I was so ****ed.
music: the velvet underground, rush, the beta band, bon iver, tiger jk, the pretty reckless, lauryn hill, elbow… and yuck!!! ahhh im so glad to finally meet someone who knows them!! i got them through all songs considered from NPR, been listening to the album for weeks:)
so jealous you’re going to Hawaii! haven’t been there in years…

@Rush10, I hope they open it here soon but from past experience it’ll probably take them two months to get it across the Atlantic, and even if it opens it’ll be dubbed in German:p sometimes I hate living here
have you seen Bridesmaids? it’s HILARIOUS (but in a very, very dry sort of way)

@StanfordCS, but would your teammate beat a girl. I tell my friends selena gomez/demi lovato/girls generation can’t sing and they get mad but what are they gonna do? lol
and yea Taylor’s hot but not enough for me to develop a girl crush. Eva Green is the hottest
favorite place in the world; Ann Arbor, Seoul and Frankfurt!
I miss the old disney stars, like Raven from That’s so raven and Hilary Duff as Lizzy… those two could sing decently. I guess they start a singing career cause albums from disney sell?

Isn’t the point of prom to be dressy? Are you an international? Or just a US citizen residing in Germany?

When I was in Taiwan, they had The Simpsons in English with Chinese subtitles, so you might be able to find it in English. No, I got out of seeing it, but some of my female friends tried to get me to go.

It’s about time you guys got into casual conversation! As a former Stanford 2015 SCEA’er, you guys got nothing on us last year.

But anyway, I think Coldplay is the best band I’ve ever listened to. I also really enjoy classical music (speaking as a piano player). Beethoven and Tchaikovsky are among my favorite composers. Rachmaninoff is good too.

Hey it’s not one of those gag inducing chick flicks, it’s acutally ok.
my favorite scene was when the bride runs out of the bridal gown store looking for a toilet, it was priceless

i guess, to some extent, but for a girl when it comes to white dresses it’s different (just immediately start thinking about weddings…) yup i’m an international, i was born in Korea raised in korea and the states and right now i live in Deutschland;) everything and i mean EVERYTHING is dubbed here. it’s like these people are allergic to subtitles or their sense of cultural superiority won’t permit them to tolerate american english

@StanfordCS, That is awesome! I was an avid football player 'till I moved to Idaho where I can’t play. I just didn’t imagine a big CS guy as a good football player. You are an interception machine. I am guessing you play CB or S?

My favorite place is, by far, Paris. I lived there for a little and absolutely love it. I have many friends and family there as well. I also love Strasbourg around x-mas time. It is amazing.

@Rush, I live in a mountain area and I am a pretty avid mountain biker, although not a serious nor great one. It is just something to do when there is no skiing.
