Go Cavs! You can probably figure out my feelings toward LeBron and the Heat based on that haha.

Did you partake in burning Lebron’s jersey?

I LOVED it when LeBron went on ESPN and said “I’ve decided to take my talents to South Beach, and join the Miami Heat.”

Then, I saw all these people crying, burning jerseys, and they tore down the Witness poster in downtown Cleveland.

HAHAHAHAAHAHA, great moment.

Why on earth would you want the NBA to get rid of the salary cap…? Oh yeah you’re a heat fan who likes to hoard superstars in big market teams >.>
The salaray cap is the only thing that keeps the sport honest. Do we really want a New York Yankee’s-like team in basketball?

YES!!!

Championship EVERY year!!! No one could stop that team!!!

It’s like society, if you’re rich, you can buy whatever you want. Well, let’s translate that to sports, if your owner is rich, you can buy whomever you want.

DeLand HS football rules!

Wait, you live in Florida? @JuiceboxEnjoyer?

Okay if the NBA were do run its association like a capitalistic society then they would lose 90% of all basketball fans since no one would want to watch the same team win the championship every year through mercenary tactics except for fans of that team. No fans = no money.

Miami Heat would be racking in the dough.

Okay I’m sorry let me elaborate.
No overall fans for the NBA = no money for the NBA.
No money for the NBA = no NBA season.
Evidence? This year’s lockout.
Miami wouldn’t just win-over the fans from other NBA teams overnight. SOME of us(*clears through" non-heat fans) are loyal to our teams.

Who do you support?

Well, then, why does baseball have fans?

No. I just googled Florida 6A football championship because I was bored.

Baseball doesn’t have fans

Then, how do they make money?

@JuiceBoxEnjoyer, Oh I was about to say, we crushed them in the regular season.

Baseball has fans because the Yankee’s are stupidly still paying their “superstars” North of 25 million dollars even though they are too old to bring the trophy to New York. So smaller market teams like Texas can make it to the world series and actually make the sport unpredictable.

OH LeBron. I was in Cleveland the weekend he left. That was an interesting time.

And baseball? Guys, I live in Western PA. The Pirates have had a losing season since I was born. Not exactly the biggest baseball fan here.

Nothing brings a city together like a big “screw you” on national television.
I was actually at Stanford at the time and I didn’t have a LeBron jersey, so no burning anything for me.

Oh well, it’s a new year and we’ve got Irving and Thompson from the draft, so hopefully we can get back on our feet.

Not related to any other posts but…I got tickets to the Young the Giant concert in February! So pumped!

I got tickets to the BCS National Championship Game!!!

That’s awesome! The championship should be a great game this year.

As for Stanford, I heard that a lot of students will be hearing back regarding their admission decision on Dec. 9th (earlier than the 15th). Is there any truth to this?

Stanford has released REA decisions on the Friday before the official announcement date in the past few years so we’re speculating that it will probably be released this Friday since the deadline for telling us is December 15th.
