<p>Hey guys I just reviewed my application and I looked back at my Stanford essays … In one of them I ended with life is the most fleeting resource we can posse… It didnt show the “ss.” Is that it for me? **** I had 7 characters left for the essay which I copied and pasted and it had the full word “possess” in it (as it did the 10 times I proofread it). **** common app but Am I ****ed?</p>

<p>@bonoballa that kept happening to me too, common app is screwed up. I had to get rid of the spacing between paragraphs on my last essay.</p>

<p>Anyway, although it does suck hopefully it doesn’t prevent you from getting in.</p>

<p>@pita i agree i love Cruise haha. i really just love the south in general though. i want to go to stanford, but at the same time, i’d love to go to a school in the south like tulane, vanderbilt, etc.</p>

<p>@AKShockwave I went back to reread my essays to reassure myself (that’s where I felt I really stood out). What a pleasant surprise! Especially since I turned that same essay in for an English paper and got an A haha. Least now I have an excuse</p>
