Official Stanford SCEA 2017 Applicants' Discussion Thread

Fingers crossed.

Sent from my MB865 using CC

I’m so frustrated. I wish they’d just tell us for sure.

ETA: I’ll keep checking until noon PST.

What the heck 14:15 is only 45 minutes before they rlease the results!?

Fingers crossed too!

I felt my phone get an email during an APES test and immediately rushed through the rest of the test to check. It was spam. #stanfordsceaproblems

in the computer lab for class right now…refreshing the admissions announcements page every 5 seconds

Threeee words

So from the trend of Fridays… It seems like we will find out on Friday.

they are doing this on purpose so they get more views on their website

Because tomorrow is 12/12/12, they will definitely release decisions tomorrow. Not. Less speculation, more chilling!

@catatau
They really should put up ads during this season! :P

^That is such a good idea!

Yeah it would be a great way for Stanford to get some more money, given that they are so poor that international admissions are not need-blind.

Any chance it will still be today? What led to the idea that the announcement could come out as late as noon PST, but not later than noon PST?

It’s based off past announcements. They’ve only been later than noon once, iirc, and most were much earlier.

sooo friday?

My bets are on Friday. Meanwhile, Excuses by The Morning Benders is a great song!

I hate this, just tell us already when decisions are coming out. I prefer if they had told us that decisions were coming out on the 18th rather than leaving us to strangle ourselves for a week not knowing if decisions are coming out day in and day out

The ironic thing is that it is looking like decisions are coming out on the 14th, the day noted on the legacy letter. It’s their record of releasing prior to the official date that is throwing us off.

Stanfoooord y u ■■■■■ so hard?
