Wasn’t Schrodinger’s cat his way of making fun of quantum mechanics and how ridiculous it sounds?

Do you actually think that the acceptance emails are coming today? You guys!!! Its coming on the 15th!!!

What schools are you applying to Holocene?

don’t have the final list nailed down, tbh. most are on the common app. I have a general list but need to cut it down even if/when I am rejected from Stanford. I have like 10 I am for sure applying to and another 10 that I want to pick a few from. There are only like 3-4 I will apply to if I get into Stanford though, and those would be mostly for money reasons.

The list of schools people are applying to surprises me. A lot of ivy leagues were in the mix. Basically everyone I know who is at Stanford didn’t apply to ivy leagues as stanford is a completely different feel. Two different types of students…

Schrodingers cat, very apt. It’s like the hopes of most Stanford SCEA applicants - both dead and alive simultaneously (because the decisions have been made but not communicated).

Stanford EA
Northwestern
UIUC
UCLA
UCB
USC
Michigan
Wisconsin
UNC Chapel Hill
Harvard

If you are a National Merit finalist you can get so many full ride scholarships!!!

My list is-
-Boston
-Penn
-Stanford
-Arizona
-UW
-USC
-Cornell

Any recent immigrants here guys? I’m talking…less than 2 years :D

National Merit Finalists automatically get half off at USC

Really? that is so cool!

Do you think you will get accepted into Stanford Holocene?

Most likely, I will not. It’s that way for most applicants.

Someone has to get in though, eh?

That is true. But for pretty much everyone who doesn’t have a serious hook, we most likely will not get in. Doesn’t mean we don’t have a shot though.

What % of scea admits are usually unhooked?

about .5 %
