If it’s today, will we get a notice by 9 PST?

Anyone have ‘insider information’ about today? Especially since the last few nuggets of prophesy from this thread’s sages have proven so eerily accurate…

Does anyone know what time Brown is releasing decisions? I need to know when things are going to get awkward at school…

The only reason that I thought it might be today, is on their website, they said a new admission reader was starting on 12/13/12; I thought this may imply that they would be done with EA and moving on to ED that day.

I guess that’s an interesting conclusion, I mean why would they have someone come in at the end of the SCEA admission process O.o

@Trivial1 where on the website is that posted, exactly?

[Contact Your Admission Officer : Stanford University](<a href=“Page Not Found : Stanford University”>Admission Staff : Stanford University)

it’s under Torres, Wilfred

Yeah, I saw that last night. I honestly don’t know. It might be a sign, it might not be.

@coffee - I think 2 or 3 PST. I’ve got a friend doing Brown ED too, I’m so nervous!

There is also the possibility that Stanford has finished SCEA decisions, but are waiting until Friday anyway (delay the annoying calls I guess)?

For what it’s worth, that 12/13/12 notice wasn’t up until at least the 29th of November, according to Google cache, and probably last week, if memory serves.

Trivial1 and raqbau, they’re simply replacing the admissions officer for that region who left the Stanford admissions office in late November. It probably just took a few weeks to find a replacement, and the 13th was when he could start. And don’t forget that even if the adcoms are moving on from EA to RD, they won’t release the EA decisions until financial aid decisions are made, and those decisions may not be completed yet, even if the admissions officers have finished their part of the job.

Again, we’ll know the decision release date when they announce it, and – other than hoping that they’ll put us out of our misery sooner rather than later – there’s really no reason to believe it’ll be today or tomorrow rather than Friday. At least we know it won’t be later than the 14th, given the definitive date in the legacy letter. Princeton’s decisions won’t be released until December 18.

Stanford would be so cool if they released the press release at 12:12 today

Not today :(

“Also, Yale is the superior institution to attend. I know, because I chose between the two.”

Lol’d.

Yale blows. I’d rather not go to college and go to ITT tech than Yale.

Not gunna lie I really like Yale

Have you ever studied there?

No… I just have researched it a lot and it is amazing. A friend of mines dad went there. And oh god they have the best admissions video in the world

Lol round 1 applicants for Stanford’s MBA program get notified today if that means anything
