<p>For those who believe Saturday is still in play, I thoroughly disagree with you for the following reason:</p>
<p>When a teacher says “due by 8:00 AM,” that does NOT mean it can be sometime after that. </p>
<p>Thus, BY the 15th /excludes/ the 15th. </p>

<p>My counselor has a counselor call tomorrow that I knew about before but I thought it was to just explain the decision so I’m guessing it was going to be friday all along</p>

<p>Wow. 725/6100 instead of 750/6100. That drops the acceptance percentage to 11.88% from 12.29%. Argh.</p>

<p>It may be just me, but I’m actually OPTIMISTIC that it dropped 25. I presume that means they didn’t have enough applicants they thought were good enough to fill all 750, meaning that the pool is less competitive?</p>
<p>(either that or they raised the bar significantly and we’re all screwed)</p>
<p>Also, that means it could conceivably be tomorrow. One thing’s for sure: the tweet and updated number means that Stanford finished decisions…possibly today.</p>
<p>The kids at my school are so smart: One got Questbridge full-ride to Columbia and another got into U Penn ED. Hopefully, I get accepted early like them haha.</p>

<p>My heart just dropped after reading the update. 25 is a lot. And what does this mean? Stanford is accepting less applicants with a bigger pool? They are going nuts. Are we all going to be deferred or is the pool so bad that they couldn’t find 750 fits?</p>
