<p>I got accepted!!! I live in Rhode Island and couple of my friends in east coast (Maine, NJ) got their emails too! I guess the decision came out early!!! Check your emails right now.</p>

Does anyone know how much time usually elapses between when the decision email arrives and when admittees/deferees get their ID?
I have a thing until like 6:00 PST on the 14th, and want to know whether I’ll be able to tell whether I was rejected or not by the number of emails… That’d be kinda depressing.</p>

<p>@alegollama: Yeah, I’m wondering the same thing. If it’s a Tuesday I will be able to check right when the decisions are released, but if it is Friday I will have to wait until around 3:30 PST and I’m afraid I’ll just know I’ve been rejected without even seeing the email.</p>

<p>Seen a rumor that somebody got an acceptance letter (physical letter) today. I’d assume that that means that either they are from California and Stanford will be emailing Monday or Tuesday, and they mistimed mail vs emails; it was supposed to be Friday and was delayed; or that person is either trolling or applied via QuestBridge. (They could be trolling, but I don’t see why they would be… it’s not on CC)</p>
