Cornell’s Director of Admissions, Mr. Jason Locke, confirmed in a phone conversation that they are aware of the nature of the link posting and that there will be no negative repercussions for CC members or visitors who followed the link.

We’re waiting for an official statement from the admissions office, but I wanted to get this up because some members have been nervous about the situation. Glad to bring good news! :)

so what we saw on the site was what really people were going to get december 15th. The results were legitimate (except the No decisioners like me)

Sigh…yes you will…but they’re making you wait until the 15th because they need to finish putting them on the web. They’re not just being sadistic by creating deadlines, you know.

I’ve been reading this for a while and joined in…I was surprised to learn of the Cornell issue. I wish I had found out…I’m going nuts. Who found out they got in?

I hate how the colleges do their notification process…I wish they would send the letter when they know. This is worst feeling I’ve ever felt in my young life.

Ya I read about people getting denied admissions when they hacked in to see their admissions early at different colleges. Lucky for these people…I HOPEFULLY wouldn’t have taken that risk tho (although that’s me talking now and not when I was an INSANE person waiting for my admission responses lol)
