@Papajohns2013 My son got admission into GRU/MCG. He got an email from them today at 4:30PM. They said that they are going to send the packet in snail mail next week.

@summerlover1 We called up last week and the admissions office said they were running a bit late this year and that interview notifications would still be sent out until or through March.
Any word on HPME interviews? Havenât heard anything in the past few weeksâŠ

We are in state. But, there is no preference for in state students. Also, I know that MCG is a great medical school
but I donât know how GRU is. Does anyone know anything about GRU?
I had my NJMS interview recently, and I was wondering if other interviewees ran into the same scenario: The interviewer dislikes the 7-year program concept. My interviewer and one of my friendsâs interviewer were both very vocal on the topic, though they mentioned that it would in no way reflect itself in our reviews. Just wondering if this was an orchestrated thing or just coincidence?

@innocentwandererây My NJMS interview was that way too! But at the end he happily said âAw I wasnât able to convince you to do 4 years hahaâ. Who was your interviewer?

Most of the students who get into BS/MD programs have academic credentials and extra curricular activities to get into TOP/IVY schools.
Or with full scholarships (Only for undergraduate) in 2nd tier schools like NJMS (Rutgers / TCNJ).
My D was asked: What would you choose between IVY or BS/MD.
The interviewer was checking studentâs motivation to go to a integrated Medical program.
My Opinion:
Their primary job is to select candidates/students who have made up their mind to do Medicine and willing to join their school.
Hope you convinced the interviewer that you are only interested in a career in Medicine (Or 7 Year program).
