God. How many times do I have to post this? @mailman96 m does equal r. The criteria that you must fulfill per the problem is have a set of fifteen positive integers whose median equals its range. The numbers in this set do not have to be distinct. What does that mean? You can have a mode. There’s no reason you can’t. So the easiest thing to do is have one 20 and fourteen 10s. 20-10=10 and 10 is obviously the median. Multiply those numbers (10 and 20 by four) and then compute m and r and, guess what, they are equal! 80-40=40 (r) which is also m. Some of you guys are really starting to **** me off…

I tried reading through the earlier comments but what was the answer for the passage on western culture. Was it cautious endorsement or mild disapproval? I put cautious endorsement

They’re almost the same thing collegeboard is such a ■■■■■

Also you can think of it mathematically. If a is smallest and b is largest then before multiplication range is b-a and mode is b-a (7th number)
After multiplying new range is 4b-4a and mode is also 4b-4a

@cookiestuf urban centers was a tempting option. It was a trick. The passage said nothing about Claudill (I think that was the musician’s name) and urban development or centers. Thus the only reasonable option was for awareness to spread (that’s not exactly how it was worded but you get the gist).

For those of you who don’t think that proceeding was an error, go look at my lost from earlier as to why it HAS TO BE preceding. It really is just logical! What company or group of people would after, rather than before, presenting someone with an award state all the reasons why that recipient deserves the award? Companies don’t! No one does because it is ILLOGICAL.
