<p>^ Dawg, the answer is “Slightly derisive”. They were portrayed as philistines. The whole point of reading is to be able to grasp the essence, not the technicalities. I am absolutely positive the answer was slightly derisive. Even with -1, you can still get 800.</p>
<p>I dunno. I got an 800 the last two times I’ve taken the SAT and I’m fairly certain the answer is neutral.</p>

<p>It was 20pi for the guys who have or are still asking. The three answer choices that your eye should have jumped to immediately were 20pi, 10sqrt(3pi), and 20sqrt(2pi). Obviously it was 20pi.</p>

Also for people saying easy/wrong…specify how many you got wrong. For me, if I get more than 2 wrong it was a hard test period. For some if they get 5 wrong it’s easy.</p>
<p>Proceed was definitely wrong, logic would dictate that. Why would someone receive an award and then it be proceeded by the giver of the award listing why they deserved it? That’s always done first so it should have been precede.</p>

The party of doom part was literal without a bad connotation…he was saying they were predicting doom for the electronic era.
Luddites are people who refused to work…would you say people on strike are derisive? It doesn’t make any sense.</p>
