Official thread october sat 2013 test

40 (angle x), 1/2 (z), 2830 (arithmetic), 90 (how many needed for 51%), 12 (perimeter), 831 (greatest possible value), .001 (k), 1680 (cotton), 64/9 (circle), 4 (p+q values)

All GRID INS ^^

12 (perimeter of triangle)
SQRT 6 (Radius of cone/cylinder)
r+4,s+4 (#20 Graph/Parabla)
15 Birds (Birds, Cats, Dogs)
7/12 (Salad/Sandwhiches)
10x (angle of 36 degrees had an arc of x)
20pi (circumfrence)

Any controversial MC

For the graph/parabola it’s r+1, s+4
Also for k you have a wide range (0.005 works)

How does one get his hands on this document? If someone could PM it to me that’d be great. Otherwise?

ADMIT IT: IT’S SOMEWHAT DERISIVE. Kidding, kidding. It’s fine guys. -1 on CR is still 800. If it’s really that ambiguous, they will take it out. Shouting out credentials should not be what this thread has to devolve to.

What is this document everyone is talking about

@Raytemnewo you forgot the parallelogram one. what was that?

Guys. We signed something saying we wouldn’t speak about it. People have no dignity these days.

Parallelogram was 1/3, didnt seem too hard

Yea honestly could someone PM me this doc that everyone is talkin about

PLEASE ANSWER
On the question in which everyone is saying the answer is 64/9, is it okay to put 7.11???
PLEASE ANSWER

So the two most controversial CR questions:

1) Mundane and extraordinary vs. Romantic and Dramatic
2) Neutral vs. Slightly Derisive

Also: Anyone remember the question about what would the author of passage 1 think about the viewpoints of passage 2?
Choices were valid (because evidence from Apiary study), misleading, too much personal opinion, or not true (because evidence says otherwise)

yes I PUT down 7.11

I said it wasn’t true because evidence said otherwise

Right now I’m at -0 M(crossing fingers I didn’t misbubble or something)
CR i’m probably at -1/2 but i dont care bc i already have an 800
W I may be at -1 or -2, but I filled up all the space with three solid examples, so I’m hoping for a 10-12
based on this, is 2300+ possible(using 800CR)?

Should have put 64/9. 7.11 is not 64/9. 64/9 is 7.1111111111111111111111

For the record, its better not to put down decimals as it simply leaves more room for error. In this case, 64/9 is 7.11111111111 repeating so it was fine

I think one of the cr questions is not gonna be scored

There was a math r

@satsarecool Yes you are sitting at about 2350 or 2370
