Official thread october sat 2013 test

I only remember one comparing paragraphs question from the West passage (the one where he talks about dislikes in one paragraph), not two. Was that even a question? If it was, could you give a little more info about it?

Someone can fix the google doc and lock it please???

ditto, Houston, I remember that and I’m actually somewhat sure it was that question

same answer as well

So there still has been no consensus on whether that one SC was punctilious or unshakable. I think it was unshakable because I don’t remember it saying anything about paying close attention to detail… Thoughts?

I keep thinking the same thing. To me, the sentence said nothing about paying close attention to detail. It was one of the first problems on the reading section. It is supposed to be “easy” and not something you have to read into. The sentence stated she was unwavering… how in any way is that ambiguous… or does that mean punctilious. I see the dilemma some of you had… i do… but i just cant make that connection in my head.

can someone pm me the answers??

october satt

@TheWestCoast if i recall correctly the question said that she got annoyed or something whenever her colleagues did something even slightly different or off–but maybe that’s just my faulty memory. if that’s the case, then punctilious would work since she’s paying attention to the smaller details.

Could anyone please tell me where are the sparknotes practice tests everyone is talking about? I just cant locate them!

Diameter=d
Radius=1/d
Therefore d/2 = 1/d
Radius= root 2
Diameter = 2 root 2

Did the question ask you to find radius or diameter???

diameter, as I remember. Wait, that wasnt a grid in question, right?

No that wasn’t a grid in question.
Pfff another mistake!
I thought it said ‘radius’!
:(

Can an international student confirm this?
Was the question about the diameter or the radius??

it was diameter and I’m international

I’m international but wasn’t the answer E) root 2? Cuz d=2/d

can someone please pm me the document or link to the answers?

Again, the link is on my profile.

pm google docs?

so is the google docs for the international test?

People got problematic for that question. I though it was the choice with questionable…
