Official thread october sat 2013 test

qt314aaa. I skipped that one originally. I went with curb of human creativity.

Edit: Darn.

did anyone get makes a stipulation for one of the answers

I don’t know about the whole watershed deal. No body else reached that consensus on any other forum. I didn’t say watershed. Eh no. Wasn’t the art and Einstein one exp?

Einstein and Art was not experimental. I had 3 W.

Can someone estimate my score?
CR: ~3 wrong
Math: 1 Definite, maybe 2
Writing: ~1 wrong
Essay: filled the page, was pretty smooth. 10?

Yeah I had 4W. I didn’t think Einstein was exp. Couldn’t remember. Watershed isn’t right. What were the other choices? I’ve never missed one of those questions, and based on my stat track I doubt I did.

it would be watershed since the author says in the next paragraph that the phonograph helped bring music “to the masses”. This would be a turning point

Can I get the link to the google document?

Wait boys, the phonograph bit was in CR and that was Edison. Einstein was in the art passage at the end of one of the writing sects.

whats 4-5 wrong on CR?? and 3 wrong with a possible 11 on the essay for writing?

yeah I think it was watershed because prior to the phonograph, music was quite elitist.

Plus, the other choices made no sense. I didn’t know what watershed meant but since the other choices were so wrong, I picked it

What was the answer to the 4 digit number withe two rules. Something like all integers must be different and the sum of the ones and tens must be greater than the sum of hundreds and thousands digits? Whats the greatest integer to fit this rule? Was this experimental?

Can I get a link to the google doc?

what were the 2 mini reading passages, the ones where you had 5-6 questions for each one

@Rkamil I think it was 12

Oh I didn’t get that question, i think it was probably exp

CR was where the phonograph passage was…that was the Sousa passage, right? It was Edison not Einstein lol

what was the answer to the series 100, 310, 940 omg i felt so stupid what it is it

Wait that passage mentioned both of those bastards!

oh like 28something

the pattern was m=3 and k=10 so whatever 3*940+10 is
