<p>Do we need to separately mail an “official transcript?” The school report will include a transcript, but according to my counselor, the one the school sends is not official. What is the protocol on this. I know that some schools specifically request official transcripts that students must request from the registrar and then mail off. Does anyone know the protocol on this - especially for Yale.</p>
<p>why would your counselor send an unofficial transcript? if she is, that’s weird… my counselor told us that for all colleges that have counselor forms (which almost all of mine do), she’s sending the official transcripts with them</p>
<p>The transcript uploaded with the school report for the online Common App is sufficient, right?</p>
