I just looked over the people who were accepted to Berkeley Economics last year… and I’m starting to think that this e-mail means I’m in…

Someone needs to call them again and ask, perhaps call both finaid and admissions. Maybe we can get different answers from people.

NEW E-MAIL!

Financial Aid: Financial Aid Document Needed
This is to let you know that we need you to submit a document to complete your financial aid file.

I know they need me to verify that I registered with the army thing.

Come onnn Berkeley… let me be a small fish in a big pond! Small fish! Small fish!

I do not trust this trick things…

cuz… before I got accepted to UCLA,

I could not even log into myucla and I could not see any finan summaries

I did not get any e-mails, I was pending for UCSD… anything I can possibly have that looked like I was not in.

however, I got accepted to UCLA on monday.

so for UCB. I will just wait and find out tommorow…

this is not going to help… e-mails or other things mean nothing… I think…

It doesn’t really matter whether you call them or not. What’re they gonna say? If you got the email, you’re in? That would be a leak of the decisions then.

^thats true

Exactly! That’s why we need to call them obsessively until someone cracks!*

*Someone other than us.

Well, turns out I DID get the emails. Check your spam, people. I think everyone probably got it if I got it. UgGHHH I cannot focus on writing my paper!

@ pessimist

LOLLL. you are so funny omg.

Did anyone get the email after 8ish? Like within the last hour or 2?

I just received the second unique email:

Consider my pants soiled.

i agree with nick. i really wanna know if anyone received the e-mail but ended up getting rejected…so far no one has been able to find anything…

@ nick.

is it just because you forgot to send in a file originally/didn’t completely finish your fafsa?

@cucumber52

No, I was randomly selected for verification. I received a similar notice from UCSD–I had to complete a form and send in the tax returns my parents and I filed.

oh i see. thanks for confirming :]

Actually, everybody has to submit their forms whether selected for verification or not I think. I was selected for verification, but didn’t get the 2nd email. However I got the double email that they sent out this morning.

i got that “submit a document to complete your financial aid file” too…i’m currently waiting to talk to a rep on the phone lawl.
how can we add to our file if we dont even have a calnet id thing?!??! does this mean were in, because why the hell would they want us to add to our file if were rejected?

anyway, i’ve been on hold for 12 min so far

edit: pomp and circumstance is now playing. ■■■

lolllll. i called them, but the machine said i was 9th on the list so i gave up.
it makes sense though, why would they even bother with our finaid info if we didn’t get in? idk. i’m still pessimistic though… that way, i can either be pleasantly surprised or right :D
