Sorry I didn’t notice that my question had already been aswered!

Seventen - hmm, how were you able to see that?

@seventen: both emails as in the verification one too, or the duplicate emails?

I just signed in using my CalNet ID. (:

@Naniwa: Duplicate e-mails!

seventen - answer naniwa’s question!!! ahahaaja

edit: ah okay. you didnt get a verification email?

^ oh, cuz you signed up for summer?

Oh ok…I hope not getting the verification email is not a bad sign. btw, how did you register for a CalNet ID??

@seventen but you signed up for summer sessions, that’s why you have an ID.

if anyone doesn’t get this go read the “Berkeley Summer Sessions Trick” thread. that’s how he found out early.

@redo: Thanks. I hope you did well on your! The class I have the midterm in will be my last class for the week. I really have to go out and do something tomorrow or I’ll go absolutely nuts. I’m obsessing about this Cal FA emails thing now. Are you guys 100% sure that people who DID NOT apply for financial aid can’t possibly receive these emails? Is there anyone who didn’t file a FAFSA and still got the email?

wow seventen is in.
congrats dude, i’m jealous D:

edit: lol datransfer i have a dentist appt tomoro late morning so ill be somewhat busy. and i wish i could answer that question for you :/

I think cherryvaseline hit the nail on the head, w/r/t – “zambonbecky - it actually doesn’t seem like EVERYONE got the e-mail…there are simply many people who received the e-mail who are choosing to participate in this thread. There are still many people out there who applied for financial aid and did not receive the e-mail.” It’s sort of a problem of self-selection – those who received an e-mail naturally flocked to the thread to see who else got it, so of course the thread is inundated with people who got the e-mail (as opposed to a more representative sample). At least, that’s my rationalization :)

Let’s all take a deep breath and wait it out 'till tomorrow. Best of luck to everyone!

@redoplease: I didn’t get any verification e-mail.

Yeah, I did sign up for summer session, which is why I have an ID. Right on, rshie002. I’m just throwing it out there that I did get those duplicate e-mails and that I can see everything, as if I am an admitted student!

dang it. i knew i should’ve done the summer sessions trick.

Wow…I can’t get off this site! I got two emails back-to-back this morning around 8am that said “We have recently created your 2011-12 financial aid offer.” I have a Spanish test tomorrow and I can’t focus. Dios mio! Thank you very much, ugh. I will post tomorrow if I got in.

3.65 GPA and Anthropology major, The College of Letters and Science

I wish everyone the best of luck :-)

It looks like seventen is as good as in. congrats!

I’m a one-year transfer to Haas! PM me if you wanna know more. (:

Yep, I applied to FAFSA and didn’t get an email. So not everyone got 'em.
Just wait until tomorrow you guys haha. I’m sure a good chunk of you guys are going to get into Cal.

As for me…you’ll see me at UCLA, woohoo! Good luck!

manhachi - if youre out there…i friend requested you! hahahaha :)
