*Official UC Berkeley 2011 Transfer: Acceptance/Rejection Thread*

wow, 80 units and looking to go to a 3rd school??? Thank God hes over 80 cuz that would have beat me out for the legal studies spot.

@Boston, thing is, there’s really no reason to bump this thread until the 29th. The UCLA thread is so active because of URSA. As far as I know, there’s no way to find out if you get in early for Berkeley.

I know, but I wanted to use the thread the way it was intended: discussion.

I’m ok with waiting for decisions (mostly because there’s no date speculation involved, thank goodness). If you are curious for a trick, there’s always http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/1100141-berkeley-summer-sessions-trick.html</a></p>

looll actuallyy the argument can be made from the title that this thread was intended for acceptances or rejections made by berkeley. and thats all.

but, yeah, lets chat guys

is this thing tomorrow you guys are waiting for?

(more proper way to say that?)

@redoplease: Discussion is implied given that CC is a message board. Some have disagreed with me and have posted about it. I just laugh them off.

Discuss away folks.

fosho eyethink. i was merely just trying to annoy  sowwie.

have any transfers that applied not actually visted the campus yet? …i havent for ucla which makes me slightly more nervous about the whole thing.

I’ve driven through Cal but never stopped. I’ve never been on any campus other than LA’s. Kinda sad since I live 5 min from UCI.

My girl, redo. Where do you want to go more? Cal or La?

I’ve only been on the outskirts of UCLA, but if I end up going I’ll have to check out Ella89’s spots for cough markings cough ;-)

I know Cal very well. I’ve only been to Irvine once, same with Santa Barbara.

I spent like 15 minutes at UCLA. I visited Berkeley for the first time this year, kind of funny I had never been there before since I live like 30 minutes away.

^The campus is quite nice to walk around in at night.

Can’t wait for you guys to get in and attend. I’ll post on here the best places to eat. Including the best ice cream on the planet.

Eyethink - Hit up the bruin outside the library…

I love the feel of Cal’s campus, but I was only there for two days when classes weren’t in session. Still, I ate some of the best food I’d had all summer on campus.

I lived 10 minutes away from UCLA’s campus for a decade, and I only visited once…for my sister’s graduation.

But now I live by UCR, and I know the campus pretty well. The pho here is pretty decent.

^^^ Vietnamese food is the only redeeming feature of Riverside County. Can’t wait to move to the Bay Area.

I feel like the vietnamese food couldnt be better in RC than in northern OC. mmmm  Theres amazing pho on every corner

anyone have a link to this thread or a similar thread acceptance/rejection with gpa and major type thing from last year or year before?

I got accepted to Cal last year with a 3.69 but didnt fulfill my Igetc. I think the minium gpa this year is a 3.74 which i got

@jg2290, did you apply again this year?

@Cactusbass - http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/920010-official-2010-uc-berkeley-transfers-acceptance-rejection-thread.html</a></p>

transferoutt

Hell yah i applied again, i am probrably more confident about getting accepted to berkeley then Ucla. I got rejected by Ucla last year but accepted to Cal, go figure on that one.
