I’m a spring admit and the adjustment was easier than I thought. Phil is significantly more difficult though than Econ so more power to you.
What stood out to me was that if your taking any “bottleneck” or “gateway” courses is that you can’t rely on any curve as the perceived curve will change on a weekly basis. I took Stat 21 which is a requirement for Haas and the competition for the grades was cut-throat. The vast majority of the class was hovering around the A/A- range and everyone was hoping that the grade distributions wouldn’t be artificially cut off since there were too many A’s. (It wasn’t but we got a insanely difficult final to lower the average grades instead)

What did you think of your summer class? From my personal experience the summer courses are easier than the regular year courses.
That said, your probably better off with just three classes. It it end up being too easy, just think of it as allocating more time to explore all the organizations on campus. Consider a Berkeley Connect section as they are really good with getting you on the right path for grad / law school and it’s pretty much an automatic letter of rec from a faculty member if you play your cards right.
