<p>@moonkittie And when I click “Personal” then “Personal Profile” it says under Spring 12 “student not enrolled in this term” whereas for Summer 12 it lists a bunch of stuff.</p>

<p>@moon9kittie: No, I can’t see an award letter because I never submitted FAFSA! 
I’m an idiot for that one and I’m going to pay for the mistake. Literally. And by having to wait so long for a decision. I’m going to submit it this week and hope for the best, I heard some people still get aid late. </p>
<p>But I really think you have an amazing indicator of acceptance. I mean you have to be in right?! I can’t wait for friday or until they update some other parts of the bearfacts. What class are you planning to take this summer?</p>

<p>People in classes have all been talking about their hopes and dreams at Cal, it seems like everyone applied to Cal!</p>
<p>I can’t help but compare myself to everyone, either. I would be so sad if so-and-so got accepted and I didn’t, especially since I know I would most likely be a better fit at Cal. I don’t mean to sound like a jerk, but there are some Cal hopefuls in a certain class of mine who never come to class and then show up on a test day, not knowing we could bring a certain set of notes, and then they blow up at the instructor like it wasn’t their fault for missing the billions of class sessions where we were told we could bring notes. Or another hopeful who makes fun of other people the entire class time, talking about how stupid people are, etc. I know making fun of people isn’t a behavior that falls in Cal criteria, but I wonder how the admissions office would think about a student who is so blatantly disrespectful to people who genuinely have a question here and there.</p>
<p>There was also a girl in one of my classes who said on Cal Day (last weekend) that admissions officers were telling people if they got admitted or not. Her “friend” got accepted, but she wasn’t able to go to Cal Day so she has to wait. What BS!!! I can’t even see that being true in the slightest at all.</p>

<p>^ spooktacular. there are some pretty humorous kids in my classes as well. total flakes who then ask for my notes, and they want to take them home, i always reply, “I don’t take notes.” haha. and yes, they are trashy and cheat using their mobile phones. probably pay for others to write their personal statements too. it is doubtful they will last after they transfer, but who knows. “failing upwards” is a popular occurrence in the modern world. hang in there. good luck.</p>
<p>Did anyone here receive an email from their department head? I applied to EEP at the CNR and the head of my department emailed me congratulating me on my admittance. However MyBerkeleyApp still says “In Review.” I’m hoping that this is legitimate and I’m just wondering if anyone else got something like this.</p>
