Official UCB Countdown

YES i timed it perfectly

@aust1nku: first I thought when did Berkeley changed their admission date, then I realized it’s 26th already. haha

We are almost there, best of luck to everyone!

Any Haas majors? XD

oops nvm

10char

one more day… good luck peeps

I never post on this forum, but I gotta say…damn!!! its getting close. Good luck everyone!!!

Word of the Day: Dawdle.

dawdle!
so does UCB have a waiting list like the other UC schools? i guess kids end up on that list when their majors are full? seems like most people on waiting lists would get it, or is that not the case? good luck all, one more day…

I don’t think berkeley is doing a list. There will be spring admits, however.

ah, i see, so they might stagger a few admits for spring? very interesting. thanks.

I’m pretty sure only UCSD, Davis, and Irvine have a waiting list for transfers. Berkeley has a waiting list, but it’s for freshman.

Wonder if anyone will get spring admit? Or if they’re even doing that anymore?

Also one more dayyyyy I’m nervous in a totally different way this time :/

^ A lot of people will be admitted in the spring, like 300+. If I remember correctly they try and aim for a class size of ~2,000. Last year they had 13,323 applicants, admitted 3,322, and 2,227 enrolled. I bet you most of the admitted that didn’t enroll were spring :P

And in that case do you just take an extended vacation? (if you’re admitted to spring)

Like how does this work…

You would just start in January instead of August. Uh, I guess in all that time you could take a vacation, continue classes at CC, or wait for UCI to release their decisions.

Here’s the spring admit FAQ:

[Spring Admit FAQs - current](http://students.berkeley.edu/admissions/general.asp?id=171&navid=3684)

Theyre definitely doing spring admits. You can still take classes at cal while you’re waiting for january!

One of my best friends was a spring freshman admit, and he took courses at BCC the fall semester prior. I assume this is an option for transfer students as well who want to start getting situated over there.

There was a girl in one of my classes last semester who was a Spring transfer admit finishing up pre-reqs.

I probably won’t attend if I end up being a spring admit. UCLAAAA!!

But yeah. Once again I’ll be at work during tomorrows decision time. Boo. I hope they don’t sent congrats emails, just “go check your decision” emails
