Same as Computer Science major. They didn’t release anything after the first batch.
I hope they are still considering and will release result tonight or tomorrow.
Also, anyone transfer from other states? I heard that they consider applicants who transfer from California first.
The waiting sucks, but the drama is fantastic! The Cohen brothers couldn’t have scripted it any better. Since today was a bust I’m excited to see what Friday has in store for us!
It’s funny, I applied to UCI as a back-up. Turns out it was the best decision I’ve ever made lol. Awaiting Berkeley’s decisions tomorrow, but I know the engineering acceptance rate is below 10% so… YAY IRVINE!!! I’m gonna be so proud to go there.
@Kellypaya if you haven’t noticed you can cut the tension in here with a knife. This is the gladiators arena the day before battle.
I am sincerely happy for you, but to come skipping in to tell us that UCI was your safety school is just bad form. Please take this as constructive critism, learn to read a room.
Unless you were notified today, (in which case share your stats) there is a separate thread for those who are already accepted. Those of us still hanging around here are just looking for some closure.
@Kellypaya No need for apologies. Revel in your anteater status and bask in your academic success. You’ve earned it!! Hopefully we’ll see you on campus next year.
Waiting for results can be horrible. I still have nightmares about being the last person to get results back in high school (well not really, but it’s still a stressful process!). Nevertheless, I would like to apologize in advance for going off topic. I have a question!
I got admitted last week (yay!). I recently checked my message center on the admissions portal, and noticed that my “report of change in my course schedule” didn’t go through when I thought I sent it more than a month ago. I just resent it, and made sure it went through this time. On my original course plan, I said I was going to take statistics, but the lectures were scheduled at the same time as the organic chemistry class I needed to take, and o-chem takes precedence. I’m taking a religious studies graduation requirement instead (Introduction to the Bible). I’m also taking a small pedagogical biology course that I didn’t put on my original course plan. Statistics isn’t a transfer requirement for my major, and my other transfer requirements have been completely fulfilled. Maybe I’m overthinking this, but I’m slightly worried. Should I be worried?
