@rollcake yep UCI has always done it. When I applied as a freshman for Fall 2013, my friends all got in during the first couple of days and I was waitlisted on the second to last day. But it was already expected at that point for me since I hadn’t heard back. Last Friday was horrible though lol I got rejected by Davis and LA within 30 minutes of each other and I hated that UCI was taking too long with my decision. And checking my portal over and over again just made me anxious. But around 5:40pm last Friday, I got the good news. Try to keep yourself busy and don’t think about it.
You said everyone, however, which makes your claim unreasonable. No user on this forum has heard anything from UCB yet.
The only people who should’ve heard back from Berkeley are those who got Regents/honors/etc
well here we sit…Refreshing over and over…son is at work so he asked me to do this for him…talk about down to the wire…HMMMMM what are they doing on their end?
@Blink5 According to last years thread. 3 PM is when the acceptance was being sent. Tomorrow was waitlists and saturdays was rejections. Lets hope the trend doesn’t continue…

If UCB is late for admitting people then they’re the ones who should we all be blaming here lol. I’m sure some people who got accepted a few weeks ago in UCI are waiting for UCB and haven’t decline their admissions yet. What the hell Berkley?

Yep. Nothing yet. I understand until May 1st. But the stress will be killing me until I get a response.
Me thinks today is a no show…but have a feeling they will all come in tomorrow…one way or the other…

UCI takes forever to give a response, they did this last year for me too. They need to hire some better admission counselors. Are any engineering majors still waiting for a response?

Anyone for Pharm sciences get in? Im a UC- UC transfer … this no response is killing me… same with 4 other friends who applied to UCI from my UC school, nothing.
