It was for all the ACC housing. They make you rank which one you would be most interested in and go from there.
@fightonRT the housing application is for all the housing arrangements offered at UCI. It is an initial application that lets the campus know that we are interested in housing for the upcoming fall quarter. That is why it asked for our preferences of the housing arrangements.
Sometime this month we will get an email notifying us to go onto our housing gateway and accept a housing contract. The housing contracts can be from any of the housing arrangements offered at UCI. Once we choose a housing contract we like, that is when we put a reservation fee of about $350. then later in the summer, we get another email about our roommate preferences and what not. In early September we get our full housing plan letting us know when we move in. This is what I understand from the UCI housing site. Hope this helps!
Btw, if you guys have a facebook, @BackNSchool83 created a facebook group for UCI Fall 2016 transfers if you guys are interested in joining. It would be a lot easier to communicate on there for any questions.

@2duhJ Actually I understood it as we’ll be receiving housing offers in mid-July. The sooner the better though, so can’t complain.
@uctransfer16 the UCI housing site said late june/early july but yes, the earlier the better

@E2DuhJ That helped a lot, thanks! I SIR’d fairly late and I guess the housing application doesn’t show up directly after committing. It takes about a day or two so I missed the deadline for the housing app. I’ll have to be on the waitlist for the ACC apartments. Anyone know the likelihood of me actually being able to get housing from the waitlist?

As far as housing goes, not sure about the chances for waitlist, I would recommend calling the housing office
Hello Everyone! So i got the guaranteed housing offer email today, just wondering if anyone else got it? I had submitted my housing application guarantee in late April.
Also I got assigned to VDC, how about anyone else?
Hey! I found the group tried joining but it says i need my UCI email to enter the group? And idk what it is lol. Called admissions they said my email was my portal username. I entered that and then it said go check your mail so we can confirm but nothing was in my undergraduate portal message center lol.

@uctransfer16 I’m getting the same thing. I use my UCI email address and student ID as instructed, and it still won’t let me log in.
@uisforutah I am thinking it may be allowed once we attend the advising session, but i’ll try to contact the zotlink group this week.
@uctransfer16 @uisforutah hey guys, I called the uci career center the other day about this and they told me it is because we are transfers starting this fall so our zotlink won’t be active until we actually are registered for classes in the fall. Unless, you plan on attending uci this summer then once the current quarter of uci ends then our logins should work but the start of this summer.
@E2DuhJ So once we’re registered for classes? So pretty much after the advising session. Thanks for the heads up.
