I thought that out of anyone you would have the best chance of appealing! i’m really sorry to hear that 
i have a very similar situation and thought i would for sure be denied by now but it’s still pending…its been over 2 weeks since they’ve received mine!</p>

That’s pretty unprofessional of them to not even give you a better explanation, considering that it was more of a technical issue. I hope you get into Biz Admin at your school.</p>

<p>I agree it is pretty unprofessional that they don’t give a better explanation to those that appealed…We spent so much time gathering evidence and making a compelling argument and all they do is give an automated “sorry.” And Thanks! UCI Biz Admin is lookin’ pretty good right now :)</p>

<p>The appeal is not for a second chance review, and it is more than likely they will not look at it unless you have new and compelling information that was not previously in your application.</p>

<p>I only missed one (that they recently changed) and they rejected me. Bah. Oh well, I’m actually glad they did because I wouldn’t have considered Berkeley if they had accepted me and now I’m STOKED to be a Cal Bear :)</p>

At the informational meeting for Psychology, the counselor told us that we had to have completed all the pre-reqs in order to get accepted. I suppose they are super strict with Psychology since it’s really impacted (not surprising). That whole high school Chemistry being taking out this year was really harsh though. Especially since at the other CCC I attended Fall semester, only ONE section of General Chemistry was being offered. :/</p>

It’s neither a good or bad thing. People get rejected even after the June 1st deadline. It all comes down to the order your appeal was received.</p>
